SquirrelMail is a standards-based webmail package written in PHP. It includes built-in pure PHP support for the IMAP and SMTP protocols, and all pages render in pure HTML 4.0 (with no JavaScript required) for maximum compatibility across browsers. It has very few requirements and is very easy to configure and install. SquirrelMail has all the functionality you would want from an email client, including strong MIME support, address books, and folder manipulation.

Project origins: The need arose in our organization for the access of email and address books from anywhere in the world. Obviously a web interface is ideal for this, given that the user has access to the Internet. After reviewing several open source projects we realized that we were going to need to do some fairly major customizations to get things to be a nice fit for our needs. So the decision was made to create our own for some of these reasons, and for fun (we really like PHP). We decided to open source the project to contribute to the community that has contributed so much to us.

Stability: SquirrelMail is stable enough to use in a production system. It is, in fact, already used in several production systems around the world, handling thousands of users per system. There might be some bugs - no project is perfect - but they are most likely minimal. We test pretty thoroughly before releasing a version marked as "stable".

MyTunesRSS allows you to access the music and videos from your iTunes library or any simple watch folder over a local network or even the internet. You can access your music from all over the world using a simple web browser. The user interface lets you search for titles or browse your whole library by album, artist or genre. You can access your iTunes playlists or create new ones directly in MyTunesRSS.

Download single tracks or play them right inside your browser. Either using a browser plugin for the file type or directly in the Flash player. Or do you want to download a complete album, all tracks from one artist or the contents of a playlist to your local computer? No problem with MyTunesRSS. You can also download an M3U or XSPF playlist and play them in Windows Media Player, iTunes, VLC, WinAmp or any other player capable of playing such playlists. Get a playlist as an RSS feed on your computer and stay up-to-date to the contents all the time. Enjoy cover images from the tracks if available in the files and supported by the RSS reader. Listen to your music via RSS feeds on many devices like the Nintendo Wii or the Playstation Portable with the latest firmware version.

Either use the simple internal database or connect MyTunesRSS with a MySQL or Postgres database for better stability and performance, especially with large music collections.

Create themes and language packs for the web interface. Just use your own style. Use transcoding to deliver your MP3 content in lower bitrates to save bandwidth or even transcode your AAC files to MP3 on-the-fly to play them in the Flash player or any other application only capable of playing MP3 files.

If theme creation is not enough or not flexible enough for you, just use the remote API - either XML-RPC or JSON-RPC - and create a whole new (web) interface backed by the MyTunesRSS server.

Enjoy integration into the Last.FM social music network. Just use any player that does not support this community - like the integrated Flash player for example - and let MyTunesRSS handle the scrobbling.

Configure MyTunesRSS to your preferences. Create user accounts to protect your music from unauthorized access. But do not worry, the default configuration is sufficient in most cases and all you need is a single click to start the MyTunesRSS server.

Since MyTunesRSS is pure Java, you can run it on any platform supporting Java 1.5.

Decloner helps you find and eliminate duplicate files on your Mac. It uses SHA-1 algorithm to reliably determine if files are identical. Decloner has a simple straightforward user interface where you only need to specify a directory to scan, and Decloner will find duplicate files in that directory and all its subdirectories. It then will show you the found duplicates and help get rid of them safely. Decloner never deletes anything permanently. All removed files are moved into the Trash so you can always restore them if you change your mind. When determining which files to delete, you can see their information and use QuickLook to examine the contents just like you would do it in Finder. You can define exclusion patterns to ignore certain file names, and set minimum file size to ignore very small files. Decloner can process large number of files on internal or external disk drives. For your convenience Decloner includes Sparkle auto-update feature.

proNotes has a whole host of features to keep you organized and help you find your information quickly. The whole philosophy behind proNotes is to give you powerful features that keep you productive without getting in your way.

Notes
The basic component of proNotes is a note. A note has a category, title, status, note text, attachments, a keyword, and to-dos. What's cool about proNotes is as soon as you save a new note, it's organized for you in the Main Window and it's text is searchable. It does all this on the fly. You don't have to create an organizational scheme or a directory structure in advance.

Fast Searching
There are two ways of searching proNotes: clicking & typing.

Clicking on a category finds all the titles with that category. Clicking on a title finds just the notes with that title. One last click in the details table shows you the note.
Typing in the search field narrows things down just like clicking. proNotes will quickly show you all the notes, for all the statuses, that have the search text in the category, title, note, attachment name, to-do item or keyword. You can search all the elements or just one (by clicking on the magnifying glass in the search field). You can search for words or a phrase (by surrounding your search in double-quotes).

To-Dos Like You've Never Used Them Before
Many programs have to-do lists but proNotes handles to-do lists in a unique and powerful way. Just like with notes, proNotes lets you click and search your to-do's. That means in just a few clicks you can:

See all your to-dos for all your notes.
See just the to-dos for a particular title (i.e. all the to-dos for the Acme account)
See just the to-dos for a particular note (i.e. all the to-dos from the conference call you had with Jack Strong on 12/26/2008.)

HDCleanUp is an easy-to-use application that does four basic functions (more are planned):

Application Uninstall. Simply drop an application onto the window, and HDCleanUp shows you a best-guess of all the applicationÂ’s related files. Files such as the applicationÂ’s preferences files, documents, and more are listed. Move them to the Trash with a click of the mouse.
Orphaned Preferences Files. Ever download and try out an application only to quickly delete it? Well it most likely left behind one or more preference files. After awhile you can collect a lot of these orphaned preference files. This window not only shows you a best-guess of orphaned preference files, but also of all the applications and their preferences files. This makes it easy to see what you can delete, and what to keep.
Crash Logs. An application crashes. It creates a crash log. The log is sometimes sent to Apple, or the applicationÂ’s developer. Then the crash log remains in your crash log folder. Some crash logs are quite large. This window allows you to selectively remove crash logs.
Log Files. Many applications create a log file for various reasons. It crashes, and the log file might help the developers show how far the application got. Or itÂ’s simply superfluous information, and you donÂ’t need it. This window allows you to selectively remove these log files.
Duplicate Files. Do you really need 5 copies of your old documents? Probably not. Drop a folder onto the window and HDCleanUp shows you all the duplicate files within the folder.
Duplicate Applications. Suppose you download an application. Months later you download an updated release, however, you forget to delete the older release. When you double-click on the application's document, which application will open? Could be the older, could be the newer. This search helps you find duplicate applications and delete the older duplicate application.
Empty Folders. What good is a folder if itÂ’s empty? Now you can track down those useless empty folders.
Empty Files. What good is a file if itÂ’s empty? Now you can track down those useless empty files.
Validate Internet Files. Ever drag a file from Safari to the Finder? Eventually you end up with a lot of these Internet files. Even double-click on one only to find the web page no longer exists? This function finds which Internet files point to a valid web page, and which do not.
Orphaned Aliases. What good is an alias file if itÂ’s lost its associated file? Time to send that orphaned alias to the Trash.
Cache Files. Cache files are used by applications to speed things up. However, somethings they become corrupted. Best to delete most or all the cache files occasionally.
ZIP Large Files. Have a lot of larger files on your hard disk? If you donÂ’t need them, send them to the Trash. Might need them? Compress them first in ZIP format and then send them to the Trash.
