MSI has released two models of the Wind12 U230, the U230-33 and U230-40. Both models will feature the 12.1" 1366x768 display as well as 2GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics, and HDMI. However, the former will be powered by an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 CPU and 250GB HDD, while the latter will run an Athlon X2 L335 CPU and a 320GB HDD.

The netbook has a weight of 3.3lbs. The Wind12 U230-33 starts at $429, and the Wind12 U230-40 starts at $479.

The Precision M4500 will be powered by either Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs (including Core i7-920M Quad Core Extreme), and will sport a 15.6" HD 1920x1080 display. NVidia Quadro FX 1800M/880M are the options for graphics, and other goodies such as a 3MP integrated webcam, backlit keyboard, multitouch trackpad and Precision ON are available, in addition to others.

Battery life is estimated at over 7.5 hours with the 9-cell options, and if you really need more juice there is a 12-cell battery slice option available. Weight is 6lbs, and pricing is expected to begin around $1,700 when it becomes available in a few weeks.

The Intel Atom N470 is clocked at 1.83GHz and gives better performance than other netbooks. There is a 2GB DDR2 RAM and a 250GB hard disk to separate it from the mainstream crowd. It's equipped with a 10.1-inch LED Multi-touch display with 1024x600 screen resolution. There is Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Intel GMA 3150 graphics, multi-format card reader, Ethernet and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The convertible comes with a 4-cell battery and one-year warranty with a price tag of $650.

The 10.1-inch LED backlit display has 1280x720 screen resolution. Asus has also included Broadcom BCM70015 HD decoder with this netbook to enable HD 720p playback for movies and flash videos. There is Wi-Fi b/g/n, 0.6MP Webcam, three USB ports, multi-format card reader and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

The netbook ships with a 6-cell battery that will produce almost 11 hours of runtime. It's available in many colors at a price of $400.

The first non-3G versions of the Apple iPad will be available in the US starting April 3rd, with pre-orders beginning on March 12th. The 3G version will ship later in April in the US along with a number of other countries.

Pricing for the non 3G version begins at $499 with options for $599 and $699 in return for a larger SSD. When they are available, 3G versions will start at $629, and have options for $729 and $829.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 will come with a range of CPU from the Core i3-330M to the Core i5-520M, as well as 4GB RAM and a 14" LED backlit display at an HD 1366x768 resolution. The Core i3 model will come with a 320GB HDD and integrated graphics, whereas the Core i5 model ships with a 500GB HDD and a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU.
