When I use trackpad scrolling (two fingers), is it common for the window to jump a bit and not scroll smoothly? It doesn't do it every time, but enough to be slightly annoying.

Also, my battery doesn't fit very well. Is that common or should it be absolutely flush?

Alrighty, I've been looking at a few hosts, but I'd like to get some input (hopefully from people who've actually used them) because it's pretty hard to tell what your actually getting sometimes.

I'm a Computer Science major and currently taking my first web class , Intro to HTML. I started learning HTML online this summer and pretty much had the basics down. I've read through the book already to get the CSS part so now I just need to practice.

A few other important things are Free setup and I'd like to pay by the month, at least for now. I'm not sure that I would ever use more than the 400mb on smallorange, but like I said I'd like to be able to dump a bunch of files on it if needed. I guess I want the best bang/buck, just not necessarily the cheapest. I don't want to be sorry in the end.

I myself would not really like to have some 16 year old kid or something holding my brand new iPhone.

I'm hooking my Wii up with my eyetv hybrid (3.03) on my my intel macbook pro.

The extreme lag issue I'm told is not solved until i uncheck "timeshift enabled" in the preferences. But I can't hold a signal for more than a few seconds with that unchecked. Any one know how to solve this? It seems like everyone can hook up their wii with the eyetv hybrid but me. What am I missing?

I got two sets of discs with my new refurb imac and was wondering if
is it possible to run the installer disc from a new imac 2.66 (os 10.5) to update the os on a 2.33 iMac (white running os 10.4) without causing many problems or losing data?

that way I wouldn't have to buy 10.5 (again so to speak) to update the old imac??? I have extra discs so I guess I have a extra license? i'm not sure.

Although it has a bitter end I have gone all the way to compile Chromium on the Mac and posted a tutorial about it.

I encourage you to review it and discuss it and maybe help me getting one less error when compiling.

Here's the thing, I really want Spore but after the horrible experience I had with Battlefield 2142 I am hesitant to buy a ported EA game.

I have a 2.2Ghz SR MBP with 2 gigs of ram and the Nvidia 8600.

The creature creator runs awesome on my computer but I'm not sure if thats any indication. Battlefield 2142 just ran crappy even with the lowest settings.

Will I be able to enjoy the full experience of Spore on my mac? Or will it just feel like another crappy port?

i just got the 8gb ipod touch and and i updated it to get the app store but i learned that WHEN WOULD DOWNLOAD THEM THEY WILL NOT START UP I AM RUNNING THE MOST CURRENT VERSION. i have restored the ipod and it just wont work

So I FINALLY got my iphone off of ebay for a decent price, after getting scammed several times.

The guy was nice enough to throw in all his accessories, most of which he never used. So I got the apple iphone bluetooth headset and the dock and all that stuff, and it actually worked amazingly well the first day. Everything is in perfect condition, I updated it to 2.0.2 and pwned it with the newest winpwn.

Anyways, it worked fine the first day, as I said. Now whenever I turn it on, I can hear static even on the beeps from the headset's own functions. When I'm in calls with it, there is reeeally bad static and I can barely hear the person at all, and they say they cant hear me. It still shows the battery meter on the top right and everything.

I searched on the net and it seems like alot of people have had the same problem... I tried all the fixes I could find, restart the iphone, airplane mode on and off, repair, etc. No dice.

Im just wondering, is there a way to fix this without going to the apple store or trading it in? This is just annoying, Id like to be able to use this while typing or driving.

Here's my question for the current model of macbook pro user.
I am gonna surf the net, word processing, and some video watching, and music listening on the MBP, is it still gonna be very hot for the MBP?

I have been PC user for years, and I am gonna purchase a MBP for university. I am gonna spend a lot of time doing researching and word processing with this laptop. This is also gonna be my first laptop&mac. I have visit the apple store, the MBP is just about to be the perfect laptop for me, except it is very hot on the surface, keyboard, and power adapter. I know a macbook would suit my need but the screen is too small, and I like aluminum case better.

I have been running smc fan control for several months now on my mbp and I haven't had any problems with it but I just have one question about it that I haven't found an answer to. I have my minimum speed at 2000 and it seems like it never leaves that point and will get up around the 140 degree (F) range with just normal use (web browsing, word processing, music playing). Will the fans still speed up automatically when the computer starts getting really hot? I have never really seen a change in my fan speed. Perhaps the computer just hasn't gotten hot enough. What is the point that the fans are supposed to start speeding up automatically and will smc fan control interfere with this? I don't want my computer to fry because the program is keeping the fans from automatically changing speed when they are supposed to. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't Work In msn when i was trying to video chat. Do i need to do something to get windows to recognize my isight camera?

I tried to hook up my C2D MBP running OS10.4 to a Panasonic PTL500u 720p projector via DVD. I played a 720p and 1080i Quicktime clip and the video looked only slightly better than a standard def DVD. Also the image didn't fill the screen completely. Text was blurred and not easy to read -- not very HD looking. I tried both mirroring and spanning. The highest resolution it would connect was 1440 x 900 interlaced, however it did NOT look that good. In fact, I tried a 540p clip and could see no difference between that and the 720p clip. What's going on?

I'd like to be able to save 1080/30fps Quicktime videos and play them back via DVI out rather than get an AppleTV and be stuck with 540p.

I don't know if it'll have GPS.
I don't know if it'll have Bluetooth.
I know it won't have a camera.
I know it won't have a mic.

I do know, absolutely, that the new Touch does have a new external control right in the same relative spot that the iPhone has it's volume control. The diagram HERE, if you copy it to your clip board and then paste it into some application you can zoom in on, has marked in brown a new control on the left side, or the right side of the back view.

Although the linked site is not the original source of those drawings, I have seen the originals and they have the same control marked. I promise, the new Touch will have external volume control.

I bought the clear case and have a black iphone. Are the clear adhesive circles that come with the phone only for the white iphone? I'm getting those ugly bubbles, and I'm wondering if I should put the circles on the case... :confused:

I have a lot of iCal events with audio alerts.

On the old iPhone software, when these went off on the phone, you could slide your finger to cancel.

Now, if you slide your finger, it just like "sleeps" the alarm or something, and it goes off again in a few minutes.

Very annoying.

hi my name is Val , i need help please, i have a motu ultralite conected to my mac pro , with leopard OS this is the problem i 've been having , i installed de drivers and software and installed ultralite , i am eable to listen to songs using Tunes, i am also eable to listen to my Roland keyboard wich i have conected to utralite, but ,when i try to use garage band or logic express, and do all the basic setup ' you know choose ultralite as and audio and midi intarface on logic preferences and garage band as well, i am not eable to record or listen to any sound throught motu ultralite, i even imported an audio song from tunes to garage band and logic as well, and still dont make any sound throught motu, i am eble to hear the song that i imported from tunes when i switch back to the built in speakers from the mac pro, but not from motu , i 've even gone to motu website downloaded the latest driver and still dont work , please help, is there anything am i doing wrong? i used this ultralite on a pc before and it worked perfect but why is not playing back or recording using garage band or logic, it just play back songs from tunes and what ever sound the system makes besides garage band or logic and i 've made sure that i am using motu ultralite as my audio interface on these to programs , please helpppppppppppppppp

My sister told me she got me an iphone first gen and she either got it in the UK or in Hong Kong, I'm not sure yet because I haven't gotten the chance to talk to her recently yet. So i'm wondering would the phone work in the U.S. and will it require for me to change my plan(att) to the iphone plan in order to use it or will I be able to keep my old plan that I'm using now.

Please help me out! I cant find anything wrong with the cameras like them being refurbished or anything but i need other opinions.

I am running Leopard 10.5.4. I have a network drive from sans digital.
Its been working since I got my mac book pro. about a month ago finder started to disconnect the drive. then today when I try to access the drive my finder starts to crash then restart then crash over and over. has anyone seen this?
