Internet. You will be able to check out on weather conditions from 5 other cities worldwide to know
whether your Aunt Bertha should hang her clothes outside tomorrow in Germany and Little Timmy in
Australia should put on an extra layer of clothing or not. This diminutive digital photo frame also
allows you to stream photos from your Flickr account. An integrated alarm clock with a 2-watt

there for an artistic statement. You can pick up this nifty desktop addition for A

the bling culture is here to stay, with London-based DEOS rolling out earphones bright enough to

look forward to Swarovski crystals. As for the ordinary Joe on the street who want something nice
without breaking the bank, there is the aluminum encrusted model so that you won't feel left out. A
stratospheric $60,000 is the asking price for the diamond-encrusted model, although do expect more
down-to-earth prices with the other two./p pa

//div pSolyndra has developed cylindrical solar panels that are touted to generate more energy and
is much easier to install on roofs and big buildings. What makes the form factor all the more
desirable is the fact that you can have an array of solar cylinders within a smaller built-up area,
increasing the energy output considerably compared to using traditional flat solar panels. This is
made possible using curved solar panels constructed from thin semiconductor sheets fixed to a glass

out there who have not touched their Wii Points in months due to many factors (uninteresting games,
being too busy in real life, etc) who might want to check out the DSi when it is released. You will
be able to purchase Nintendo Points cards in 1,000, 3,000 and 5,000 denominations, where individual
titles will be priced at 200, 500 or 800 points. According to Nintendo, the non-transferable policy
is there because Nintendo does not have a centralized bank system despite all the money they're
raking in this generation. /p pa

secure, and the same door can only be opened using a small remote control shaped after a key. You
will be able to register up to 16 different remotes to a single lock. Good thing the unit is
powered by normal batteries purchased via the store, so there's absolutely no reason for you to
remain locked out due to dead batteries. Interestingly enough, the Remock Lockey will prevent any
locking action from happening if the battery level falls too low for comfort. The Remock Lockey can

pWith oil prices retreating from their all time highs a few months ago due to perceived lack of
demand, many of us are heaving a sigh of relief although the cloud of a recession still hangs over
our heads. TomTom goes the extra mile (pun not intended) with some of its models (GO-930, GO 920T,
GO-920, GO-730, GO-720, 330XLS, 330, 130s and the 130) being able to direct you to the cheapest gas
station in the area. Of course, you will still have to take into consideration the distance and
convenience factors, but then again for $14.95 a year for this service you ought to take full
advantage of it to recoup your investment./p pa

pJapanese will soon be able to rent a robotic suit that helps people with mobility problems to move
around independently, although the $2,200 monthly rental will probably put plenty of people off.
Known as HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb), this computerized suit features sensors that will pick up
brain signals that direct limb movement via one's skin. HAL's computer system is belted to the
waist, where it will capture brain signals and translate them to instructions for mechanical leg
braces to act accordingly. Several European nations have already expressed interest in HAL, but
there is no word about a US release just yet. Hopefully as it gets more popular, the rental cost
will come down as well./p pa

src="http://www.ubergizmo.com/photos/2008/10/razer-actosa.jpg" border="0" //centerbr / pRazer is no
stranger to gaming peripherals, and the Lycosa and Arctosa keyboards are the latest two models to
hit the market. The former is the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition which boasts the addition of
a high-gloss mirror finish, retailing for $79.99 when it is out this December. As for the Razer
Arctosa as seen above, this is a more basic version of the Lycosa, so you can expect a fair number
of features to be missing in comparison, including a backlit keyboard for in-the-dark gaming
sessions. You will be able to pick up the Razer Arctosa in either silver or black colors this
November for $49.99./p pa

new brainwave-controlled game/a developed in collaboration with Square Enix. Of course, this would
mean adding yet another gaming peripheral to your already cluttered home in the form of the
MindSet. The MindSet looks like a pair of headphones, where a single electrode connected to the
user's forehead will read the player's brainwave information (EEG data), registering the commands
and letting players perform relevant actions within the game. Would you make a beeline for this
game, or do you think it is a gimmick at this point in time, rather preferring to wait for a second
generation version to be released before making the plunge?/p pa

practical - the Two Lamps design from LifeGoods sees it function as a bedside lamp when stationary,

the advent of better graphics and audio, video games have gotten more and more immersive, and
driving simulators are extremely good examples of sending its player into a totally different zone.
Most gamers who love driving sims on their consoles will probably have a steering wheel setup ready
in the living room, but how many of these stay in place during an intense race? With the RennSport
Wheel Stand from Fanatec, it helps gamers play without worrying about pedals or steering wheels
moving out of position thanks to its lockdown feature that keeps the steering wheel in place while
your pedals remain firmly grounded onto a solid, non-slip base. You will be able to pick up the
RennSport Wheel Stand at the end of this month for $130./p pa

//centerbr / pThe Dell Mini 9 has already been touted to be an utopia of sorts for modders thanks
to the tons of space within despite being a netbook. A MyDellMini forum user known as Tom Beauchamp
managed to squeeze in an USB GPS receiver into the Mini 9, complete with a
href="http://mydellmini.com/forum/integrated-gps-on-my-mini-9-t167.html"instructions for you/a to
do the same. Perfect for those who want to navigate using their netbook when driving, although the
battery life of netbooks isn't up to snuff for lon distance travels. /p pa

//centerbr / pMost Bluetooth headsets do nothing but offer hands-free communications, right?
Apparently not. SouthWing has gone the extra mile with its SH241 Bluetooth headset which is able to
tap into ATamp;T's VoiceInfo news and information service at the press of a button, allowing you to
listen to the latest in headlines, travel, sports, news, and weather information as long as you're
hooked to a ATamp;T Bluetooth-capable cell phone (iPhone users, let out a whoop of joy!). Since the
system is voice-activated, all you need to do is speak your selections and you're good to go,
although I'm not sure how accurate the speech recognition system is. At least there is no need to
press further buttons to help you concentrate better on the task at hand. You will be able to pick
up the SouthWing SH241 for $39.99./p pa
