On y

Hi, I hate for my first post to be for help, but I'd really like to know how to fix this.
Sorry.
So, I've looked around and I can't seem to find how to add a wireless card or OSX doesn't recognize
is anyway. It says I can access through LAN (and I can) but has no option for WLAN. I have zero
idea how to fix this. It's an Atheros AR5BMB5, as I had said.
Also, my USB ports don't seem to work. I jacked in two different USB wireless. . . uh, things and
one 2GB memory stick. There was no reaction from the computer but the light on the USB memory stick
did turn on. Not sure what specifications I can give to help you figure out why this is happening,
but if there is anything, let me know.
Thanks for any help.:) I hope to try to become a more productive member of this community in the
future. Sorry again for the leech first post.:(

We’ve seen a number of Twitter tools for scheduling future tweets, shortening URLs,
and tracking click-thrus. But BrightKit
(not to be confused with the location-aware app BrightKite) is the sleekest
we’ve seen yet, making it worth a mention.
What makes BrightKit special is its beautiful interface for managing multiple Twitter accounts.
The Dashboard lets you see all your Twitter accounts at once, while you can also use a pull-down
to toggle from one to the other to utilize all of BrightKit’s options. Those options
include scheduling Tweets for the future, viewing your pending Tweets, automatically generating
short URLs (of the ow.ly variety), and seeing click-thru data on your messages.
You can also setup multiple admins for your BrightKit account, which makes sense given the
service is targeting businesses that want to use Twitter. Here’s what it looks like:
BrightKit also has some intriguing features planned, including geo-location tracking, exportable
reports, and offering users the ability to reply directly from within the interface. Unlike many
tools that are simply side projects of developers, this one comes to us from an interactive
agency called Invoke.
Similar tools include EasyTweets and
Twuffer. EasyTweets recently added some new features that
BrightKit doesn’t offer yet including being able to view the timelines for all of your
accounts, a bookmarklet for sharing links, and integrated search. But we think BrightKit has the
best interface at at the moment and recommend it if managing multiple Twitter accounts and
creating the illusion of never sleeping are high on your priority list.

Is bigger always better? JVC's new LED display in Times Square doesn't have the size of
Walgreens or Toshiba
(and lets be real, no one is touching Dubai) but it
is the first one in proper 720p (1280x720) resolution, no scaling or head tilting necessary here.
After calling the crossroads of the world home since 1979, the new improved board lit up yesterday
at 19 x 34-feet, capable of displaying 60fps with a mere 8mm pixel pitch ensuring things look good
even close up. You can thank the same Clear Channel Spectacolor and D3 LED folks that were behind
the Walgreens installation for this 12,500 lb screen, and we suppose you can also blame them for
not letting us play some Call of Duty on it as well. Check the gallery or if you're in the
area just take a walk over for a new and better look.

I've just discovered that the latest version of KDEPIMPI (2.10), compiled for the Open Embedded
project, combined with the libqt-mt.so.3 library (for Zaurus qt3 compatibility) produce a working,
stable, PIM suite. The menus, icons, and functions are much better, though it isn't Hildonized. The
calendar/to-list is much better, the address book is fully functional, and synchronizing works. The
mail progam (ompi) and cell-phone data exchange (kammu, based on gammu) each run but are untested.
Many thanks to: Zautrix (the original author of KDEPIMPI), yonggun on OESF for compiling the
package, and tz1 for the qt3 library. The .deb package is available via the OESF forum (for
members) or on the Maemo Garage kdepimpi site.

Once again, your friends at Cinematical will be braving the arctic cold in Park City, Utah to bring
you best and brightest from the 2009 Sundance Film
Festival, which will be celebrating its 25th year anniversary in 2009. The films in competition
this year, spread across four different categories (Documentary Competition, Dramatic Competition,
World Cinema Documentary Competition and World Cinema Dramatic Competition) were just announced and
we've got 'em right here.
Among some of the highlights we have Doug Pray's doc Art & Copy about the advertising world,
Good Hair (comedian Chris Rock examining African-American hair?), John Krasinski's (The Office)
directorial debut Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, Paper Heart (that secret Michael Cera
flick we told you about), Cold Souls (with Paul Giamatti and Emily Watson) and An Education
(from writer Nick Hornby). Festival director Geoffrey Gilmore noted that "This year's films are not
narrowly defined. Instead we have a blurring of genres, a crossing of boundaries: geographic,
generational, socio-economic and the like. The result is both an exhilarating and emotive Festival
in which traditional mythologies are suspended, discoveries are made, and creative storytelling is
embraced." Tomorrow we'll have the non-competition films.
Check out the entire slate (with descriptions) after the jump, then tell us what looks good to you.
