I have about 15 lengthy slideshows to export to .mov files in iPhoto 08', this takes a while for each one. Is there anyway I can make it batch export so I don't have to keep hopping back to my computer to set the next one to export? Automator looks like a promising tool for this, but I'm not sure how to make it select a different slideshow each time and give it a different name? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking it would be cool if you could switch between what "state" you wanted the phone is....

ie

switch it normally and its your normal work phone with email and callendar and notes etc etc what you need for work with a serious theme & ringtone etc etc...

and then when u finish work, you can just flip the switch and you phone will transform to your home phone. new theme new icon layout new setting new ringtone...

I'm curious why CGRectContainsPoint works on an UIImageView while it is animating but not on an UIView while it is animating?

I have a square moving across the screen and as it's moving I want it to stop if I touch it. It works with a UIImageView but not UIImageView.

Why is that?

I need more than just an image, so should I be looking into CALayer as opposed to UIView?

I was able to connect to my wifi router without any problem until I had to return my Touch to get a new one (under warranty)

As earlier, the Touch recognized my wifi router, I entered the password and it connected fine. But I wasn't able to browse any site as none of the domainnames were getting resolved.

The Touch had to be assigned a local IP (192.168.1.x) but it has an IP 169.254.250.114, subnet mask 255.255.0.0, DNS is blank. Not sure where this IP came from.

I took the same iPod Touch to my office where I have a similar wifi router (but not the same make), I can browse without any problems.

What should I do to fix this problem? I have upgraded to 2.2 just yesterday hoping it would solve the problem but it did not

I have OS X 10.1.5 installed on my iMac G4 and I'm trying to install OS X 10.4.1. Upon restarting with the 10.4.1 disc, I receive a Kernal Panic Error message right after it restarts and the white apple appears, the error looks like this:

The error message says on the top: Unable to find driver for this platform: "PowerMac 4, 2"

I eject the disc by restarting + holding down the mouse button and the computer restarts back up in OS X 10.1.5.

Any ideas??

I've been trying to pinpoint exactly what is causing our internet or our wireless network to get super slow after a few hours of any restarting of the router. I noticed that when I kick my roommates off the network it goes super fast, but once I let them on it gets extra slow after awhile.

What might be causing this? What should I be looking for on their systems that might be the cluprit? Or my own?

It's a Netgear WGR614 v6 Router.

I have two old G4 imacs sitting around my house, and I was wondering if there is a way to connect the two computers together, to make like a duel processor, duel monitor computer out of them.
