On y

En deux mots : To be continued...

Instead of the classic weapon shape that we've grown accustomed to for the ultimate Transformer
baddie, Alternity Megatron's alt-mode is a Nissan 370Z. Here we have a problem, as Megatron's car

pNVIDIA's CFO Marv Burkett was recently quoted at a technology conference saying about Nettops:
em"Wersquo;re not saying wersquo;re not interested; itrsquo;s a matter of how the market will
evolve"/em. That got many people wondering what that really meant. /p pOne complaint about Netbooks
is thatnbsp;most can't even play a fullscreen YouTube video at full speed, let alone 1080p video
(on an external display) or video games. Clearly, NVIDIA could help there. The thing is, NVIDIA
does not need to build a new product to enter that space. Look at the GeForce 9400M in the a
href="http://www.apple.com/macbookair/"Macbook Air/a. Its thermal dissipation and power consumption
*could* make it eligible for a Nettop. Heck, nbsp;itnbsp;mightnbsp;even be smaller
thannbsp;competing two-chips solutions./p pNow, there's thenbsp;matter of pricing, but there
arenbsp;ways to find the correct combination of price amp; performance like "A
href="http://www.edn.com/blog/1480000148/post/1240018324.html"binning/A", or work out a volume
deal. Ifnbsp;everything elsenbsp;fails, Moore's law will cut the price by half soon
enough.Technologically, there's little that prevents someone from building a Nettop with a GeForce
9400M.nbsp; /p pPermalink: a
