I recently bought a new 7.1 receiver(Onkyo 606) and it came with a Ipod Dock that says it is
compatable with
5th gen Ipod with Video,
Ipod Photo
4th gen Ipod
2nd gen Ipod Nano
1 gen Ipod Nano
When I buy my 120gb Classic will I be able to use it with this dock? Or will I have to get a
different one? If i have to get a different one what do you recommend?
thanks

pApple has loosened their tight turtlenecks abit, offering no-fee Mini DisplayPort licenses to
parties who are interested in designing products around the new specification. It is hoped that
this move will bring the fledgling display connector to mainstream consciousness. After all,
they're pretty confident that most people would need resolutions of up to 2,560 x 1,600 on their
desks, a resolution that is commonly used on 30" displays. Do you think third parties will pick up
this license? Well, it would be interesting to see Apple's train get derailed for a while to A

I have a 2007 17" MacBook Pro
2.4ghz
MacBookPro3,1
SMC Version: 1.18f2
The Optical Drive is:
MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-85J
Firmware Revision: FBZ8
Ok after that, here is the problem I am a problem as you can see with my optical drive giving me
these errors: The device failed to calibrate the laser and medium writing error when I try to burn
any type of dvd or dvd dl. I have tried Disk Utility, Toast, DVDRemaster and some other
applications that I can't remember the name of. I was able to burn DVDs before but for some odd
reason I now can not burn anymore. I have tried several types of dvd brands even studio quality
dvds that my buddy gave me from the local tv station. I can write cds from toast and itunes.
figured i would throw that in if someone asked. anyways. I have also taken compressed air and blown
out the drive but still no luck. So I am asking someone please help me with this let me know what I
need to do. Thanks in advance

Well, it looks like those that found TrekStor's MovieStation
maxi t.u. hard drive a bit too bulky for their taste now have a new option to consider in the
form of the company's new MovieStation pocket c.uc, which packs many of the same media-friendly
features, plus a memory card slot (SD, MMC, and xD) for some added convience. As you can see above,
you'll also get a remote to control the device when it's hooked up to a TV (via composite or
component), and you'll get support for most of the audio and video formats you'll likely want --
yes, including DivX and Xvid. No word on a release 'round here just yet, but folks in the UK can
apparently grab a 250GB version now for £99.99 (about $150) or a 500GB drive for
£139.99 (roughly $215).

I recently had a little accident with my Mac and had to reinstall iTunes and import all my music
back in there. Now, I have my iPhone and my nano that both have playlists on them. But because I
had to reimport all my music in there, the I don't want to sync either because I am afraid that
wheN I do, the playlists will be removed from both. Is there any way to export a playlist from my
iPhone/nano to recreate it on my Mac? Or any way to sync them to my Mac and not lose the playlists?

i receive salvageable materials all the time, and about a month ago i got an old school desktop.
Power Macintosh g3 - all in one.
it doesn't boot up. i took it all apart, cleaned everything, went through the service manual, reset
the cuda, bought a new 3.6v battery, used a different power cord....
im a handy guy, but im not too savvy with computers. i can use them, but im not educated
on the hardware operations.
i dont need a walkthrough or anything major, just some ideas on possible reasons for the
malfunction. everything is in order according to the manual.

vspace="5" border="0" //div pThose looking forward to the Jasper-powered Xbox 360 consoles will be
ecstatic to note that these have been confirmed to be circulating, but on the downside you won't be
able to tell the difference between a Jasper and a Falcon system without opening up the box. Some
of the much needed improvements brought by the Jasper unit include graphics, power supply and
internal flash memory, experiencing a shrinkage from 90nm to 65nm in the graphics department which
results in less heat and the need for less powerful fans within. This translates to a much quieter
system with lower power consumption. The new revision is also tipped to feature 256MB of flash
memory - a whole lot more compared to the original 16MB, presumably to accommodate the new Xbox
Experience. So far, Anandtech has confirmed that lot number 0842 from team FDOU or CSON and lot
number 0843 from team FDOU feature Jasper units, although there are claims of confirmed Falcon
units within these lots as well. At least the odds of picking one up is better than winning the
lottery./p pPermalink: a

pApple has achieved yet another milestone, adding one more feather to its already full hat by
obtaining 8.87% market share of Internet surfers who use a Mac. When you take into consideration
the iPhone's 0.37%, that would mean one in eleven people surf the Web on an Apple device. Just as
one man's meat is another man's poison, Windows users for the first time in recent memory will
account for less than 90%, with Internet Explorer's dominance hitting another setback by dropping
below 70% for the first time since the late 1990s. Will this trend continue, or do you think
Microsoft will do something to buck it?/p pPermalink: a
