So today I was booting up my MBA. It got stuck on the grey screen with the Apple logo and the
little spinning thing under it. I restart a few times, tried the option + command + P + R thing,
and still got the same thing. That was a few hours ago. Now, when I boot up, I get a blue screen
where all i can do is move the cursor. Tried restarting again, now it shows a grey screen, then
boots into windows which won't work. It says "Windows failed to load because the system registry
file is missing, or corrupt". Does anybody have any idea what's going on?:confused:

I can't seem to find the answer to my question any where. I was needing to know if the hd in the WD
500gb My Passport essential is 9.5mm or if it is too large to go into a 2.16ghz black macbook.
According to the western digital website the casing measurements of both the 500gb and the 320gb
are the same, but I cannot find anywhere the exact model number of the hd within the casing. Any
help would be great, thanks.

Background Info:
Phone: Iphone 3G firmware 2.1 Jailbroken (but not unlocked)
OS: Windows XP
Software: Itunes 7.7 and Itunes 8.0 (latest)
Story:
My phone crashed when I tried taking a call while the phone was charging. When I picked up the
phone, I yanked it a little too hard (damn cords are too short) and the usb connection was
half-pulled out while at the same time, I managed to slide the answer bar all the way to the
screen, resulting in the phone crashing.
I pressed power + home to shut off the phone and hopefully turn it back on. It wouldn't turn back
on.
So I went home and tried to put it in DFU mode. Itunes 7.7 was able to detect it I downloaded the
firmware 2.1 (even though 2.2 has been out for a few days, I didn't want to update yet). I hit
shift-restore and selected the firmware, and after a minute or two when itunes is trying to prepare
the Iphone for restore, it gives me an error message of 1601.
I tried Itunes 8.0 and restore with the firmware. Same result
I tried Itunes 8.0 and restore with the new firmware 2.2. Same result
I even tried Itunes 7.7 and restore with the new firmware 2.2. Still same results.
I noticed that just before it says "Preparing Iphone for restore" I hear the USB disconnection
sound each time, so I figure I would disconnect the phone while it is preparing for the restore,
reconnect it and go through the steps to put the Iphone in DFU.
This time it gave me the error of 1600. For all the same combination above as well. I have
restarted my computer each uninstallation of Itunes (I followed through with removing even programs
like "bonjour", "apple mobile update", etc.
Has anyone had this problem before? How did you solve it? I'm trying really hard not to blame the
person who called, but y'know, anger and frustration overpowers logic. TIA.

I am new to Mac. I have an iMac G4 that I got to test the waters and I love it. I think I am ready
to jump in. I am selling the imac and going to get a new one soon, after they are updated. But I
also want a macbook pro. 15 or 17 inch model is still in the air, but I am curious how well it runs
windows in bootcamp. Is it just like my pc or is it quicker? I just know a lot of video converting
software for my pc along with other programs and it might take me a bit to find the stuff I like
for mac. Also do the new macs play well with ntfs drives now without third party software? Thanks

My business is very small and very new, so I'm looking for free stuff...I know...aren't we

I've already got the site set up through hostmonster, using iWed, and I havea business account with
PayPal. But when I went to put a shopping cart on my site through PayPal...it looked really
complicated. Entering all these codes for each product!?!? I have a lot of inventory!
I'm super super novice when it comes to all this technological stuff - which is WHY I'm using iWeb.
Isn't there a program out there that's compatible with iWeb where you just drag and drop the
buttons where you want them, and then activate the buttons??? Then they link to Paypal or
something? HELP!!!

I just got a second Macbook Air that is Rev A SSD (instead of Rev B... :( But at least screen is
flawless...) And since I still have HDD Rev A at hand as well, if anyone is interested in asking me
to do some kind of benchmark one wants to try, now is the time. :) (I usually don't do much of
these stuff, so tell me exactly how I can do it.)
I wouldn't be holding the HDD in about 5 days, so, I can only do it in those days.
So far I like the app icon only bounce once for most of the app's initial launch. :)

Sings Nirvana" video got REMOVED. So here's some more CRACK. Renge verbally violates the Host
Club (mainly Kyouya, naturally) while proposing her vision for a new film featuring all the guys.
