vspace="5" //abr / Simulating a 5.1 surround system, our 2.1 HT-SD300 and HT-SB200 sound bars are
the latest wonder from Sharp at the CES. Fit to be mainly used with a 32” TV these sounds
bars are compatible with the latest sound standard and will provide you with a pretty nice audio
experience. br / emLAS VEGAS, NV, January 8, 2009 -- Sharp introduces the company’s first
2.1-channel Sound Bars, models HT-SB300 and HT-SB200, offering advanced audio technology and easy
setup to enhance a home entertainment system. The new Sound Bar series was designed to simulate a
surround sound effect without the bulk and added cost of a full home theater audio system. The
compact models encase left and right speakers, as well as a subwoofer, in one clean unit, for a
slim, stylish profile design, ideal for wall mounting. The units can also be placed on a TV stand
(32-inch class LCD and up), with included mounting plates and adjustable feet to straddle the base
of an LCD TV.br / “These new Sound Bars give consumers an affordable way to complement the
superior picture quality of their high-end LCD TV,” said Bob Pleyer, senior marketing
manager, Entertainment Products Division, Sharp. “With their low profile design, they blend
in with the slim design of today’s flat-panel TVs for an overall sophisticated look.”br
/ The 34-watt Sound Bar combines advanced HDSS (high-definition sound standard) sound technology
and SRS WOW HD Sound for a more natural listening experience and a deeper, more natural bass
response. Both models feature adjustable Bass, Treble and Sub level options for a unique surround
sound effect without rear channel speakers. The HT-SB300 adds digital audio decoding with DTS,
Dolby® Digital and Dolby Pro Logic® II decoder, as well as Dolby Virtual
Speaker to effectively simulate 5.1 channel surround sound. Dolby Virtual Speaker helps consumers
transform their living room or bedroom into a surround-sound theater without stringing speaker wire
throughout the room. The technology simulates a realistic 5.1-speaker surround sound environment
without placing speakers in every corner of a room. The advanced Dolby Virtual Speaker technology
then processes the sound to simulate the dynamics of a traditionally placed 5.1-speaker system.br /
For flexibility and simple setup, both Sound Bars feature dual audio inputs, right and left RCA
jacks and a 3.5mm sub mini jack, which allows for a second audio source such as an MP3 player. The
HT-SB300 adds a subwoofer output jack as well. Both models also include a slim remote control that
can simultaneously control a Sharp AQUOS® LCD TV, as well as a programmed equalizer and
an auto On/Off function.br / Pricing and availabilitybr / The HT-SB300 will be available in April
for a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $299.99.br / The HT-SB200 will be
available in January for an MSRP of $249.99./em...br /br / a

Okay, first time posting, but have been browsing for a few months now.
I am looking for some information about mac pro fan speeds, i purchased my mac pro in mid september
and it was running flawlessly, quiet, and quick.
It is a dual quad 3ghz processor with 2gb of ram, nvidia geforce8800 gt 512mb video card and a
500gb hard drive.
Within the last few months, the computer starting to get very loud due to high fan activity. I
brought it to the Apple store tonight, and obviously it was running quietly there. When i got home,
it was running loud again, and I downloaded an app that let me control my fan speeds. Below is my
current fan speeds as well as what they are set at.
After setting the fan speed down to being the max 1000rpms, it seems to be running pretty quietly
and I only hear a little bit of fan noise, however I know that if you put it to low you can fry the
computer, so I don't want to risk this happening.
I am new to the mac world, this is my first mac but I have used them at school for the last few
years in my graphic design courses, however when it comes to technical issues, I know more about
PC's, but its changing everyday and i'm learning more.
Is this safe to run:
Mostly what I'm worried about is that power supply fan being to low.
Thanks in advance!

I recently got my 32GB Patriot SSD for my Macbook. This thing is amazing to boot. Counting from
hitting enter at the OS selection screen, I see the Apple logo screen for a mere 4 seconds before
it starts the login procedure (autologin enabled). 9 seconds later, I'm at my desktop and my
startup apps are done launching. Everything is ready to go. 13 seconds from on to idle. WOW. My
friend's aluminum Macbook takes about 30 seconds.
This is one of the reasons you might want an SSD :)
Anyone else want to share their boot times?

I need a new pair of earphones, really soon. I've been through 2 pairs of standard Apple headphones
in the last 8 months and they have both absolutely fallen to bits, I'm still using them, even
though the caps keep falling off and the left earphone constantly drops out (which I fix by banging
it ). I need a new pair of headphones that are strong enough to last longer than 4 months and can
withstand a school bag. Also, is there anything you guys recommend that I can do to protect my
headphones better?

My wife's MacBook recently developed an intermittent fault with some keys not responding. Also kept
powering down & wouldn't re-start. It was 2 months out of warranty so I took it to Computers
Now, South Melbourne who diagnosed a faulty DC-in circuit board. The power button &
intermittent keyboard problem required a new top case. I phoned Apple in Sydney & after
checking with the techie at Computers Now Apple agreed to bear the cost of this repair. I just
wanted to mention how impressed I was with the level of service from both Apple & Computers
Now. The MacBook was out of warranty but they stood by their product. Thanks Apple & Computers
Now.

Hi,
My wife's iphone broke so I gave her mine since I don't use the features much and when I stick her
sim in to my iphone it asks me to activate it again. Does activating it again mean I'm renewing the
contract? And if it does, is there some special way to tranfer sims from one iphone to another?
Thanks.

Hi
I am using this snippet of code
void * handle_;
if (handle_
=dlopen("/System/Library/Frameworks/DiskArbitration.Framework/Versions/A/DiskArbitration",RTLD_NOW))
{
printf("............");
}
else if (handle_
=dlopen("/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DiskArbitration.Framework/Versions/A/DiskArbitration",RTLD_NOW))
{
printf(".................");
}
But i am getting the warning :
"suggest parentheses around assignment used as truth value" for the first line i,e the for the
"for" loop....can somebody help me to get rid of this warning..:confused:

I wanted to download something on Cydia so I opened it and it told me there were some updates and
such. So I proceeded with the update and when I restarted my springboard I found this icon with the
app SportsTap. Is anyone else experiencing this?
