David Goyers THE UNBORN hits theaters this weekend. A twist on kiddie-killer flicks of the past
like THE OMEN and ROSEMARY'S BABY, this time the terrible little tyke wasnt even born in the first
place. Hottie-on-the-rise Odette Yustman plays Casey Beldon, who comes to find out that her unborn
twin brother is pretty pissed off about the way his life didnt work out. His plan is to kill her
and thereby use her corpse as a gateway to his own existence. Uh-huh, makes perfect sense, right?
Whatever. Non-existence is a new twist, but flicks about evil children have been around for the
past half-century. So lets have a look at some of the most memorable Demon Seedlings of movie
history. A tour through these movies may be all the birth control youll ever need!

SENSIO Technologies Inc, creator of the SENSIO® 3D technology will present the complete
range of its 3D products at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2009 (CES). From the
encoder and decoder that enable live broadcasting of 3D events to the software solution for
watching pre-recorded 3D content, or 3D content streamed via the Internet, on PCs,
SENSIO® 3D technology has something for everyone. "Last year we presented the very first
High Definition 3D consumer solution and this year we are once again innovating by presenting
professional and consumer products that meet, and sometimes even surpass, industry requirements and
standards", says Nicholas Routhier, SENSIO's President and CEO.
Live 3D: the latest trend
SENSIO® 3D technology will be used in Cinedigm's CineLiveTM digital cinema product to
broadcast tonight's football game in 3D in 80 digital movie theaters across the United States. This
technology enables live broadcasting of stereoscopic content in movie theaters and, shortly, in
homes, through pay-per-view television or video on demand. "This event is the best type of
demonstration; it allows us to show that our technology is mature, reliable and, above all, ready
to be used now", says Nicholas Routhier.
The SENSIO® 3D encoder card and decoding IP, which have been used jointly with the
satellite broadcasting technology of International Datacasting Corporation for the sporting event
broadcast, are being demonstrated in the SENSIO suite at the Flamingo hotel (room Carson I).
Through the system of 3D cameras, the encoder and the decoder, visitors can film themselves and
watch themselves live in three dimensions on an LCD HD television.
Innovation: 3D software for PCS
SENSIO® 3D technology is now available as software. It can fit into any media playing
software, enabling 3D content to be watched on a computer with a 2D or 3D screen. For the S3D
demonstration in the SENSIO suite, 3D content is streamed via internet on a PC and is decoded and
displayed using the software. This innovation enables live 3D broadcasting of sporting events,
concerts and more through the Internet, making large-scale access to these events possible.
Previews of other Hollywood content
SENSIO is once again presenting trailers from some of the big Hollywood studios' most recent 3D
productions, as it has done at every CES exhibition; accordingly, trailers from Universal Studios'
Coraline and nWave Pictures' Fly me to the Moon will be presented. In addition, visitors will be
able to watch live content from Inition, such as hockey, tennis, rugby and boxing.

Google has barely released Chrome 1.0, but the company is already hard at work on version 2.0 of
its web browser. They released a pre-beta for Chrome 2.0, which comes with a lot of new features,
including ones that should've already been in Chrome 1.0. In addition, it seems as if the Mac and
Linux versions of Chrome are getting closer.

Mornin'
I've got a Rev. A. 15-inch MBP and I've noticed recently that the SD is no longer able to
read/write media. I've tried everything, DVD, CD, blank, commercial, different speeds. The SD tries
to read the media but then just spits it out. I did have some success when trying to rip a
Stereophonics album - disc one worked fine but disc two had problems. It worked eventually but only
after inserting and ejecting ;) many times.
Thing is I got a funny feeling this problem materialised after the Leopard 10.5.6 update. The SD
has been working fine up until a month or so ago. The SD is a Matshita (sp?) UJ-857 with HAEA
firmware. I thought about trying to reflash the firmware but I can't find one that works with
Leopard and I can't install Tiger on an external HD because the SD won't read the Tiger DVD.
Just for the record the SD also has problems reading/writing media when booted into Vista. Although
the Vista install DVD seems to work. Is there flashing firmware available for Windows
that would work?
Any ideas short of replacing the drive myself with one off of Ebay as I don't have AppleCare.

Alright I have a current rev Mini 1.83ghz, and want to upgrade the stock 80gb HD, wondering if this
drive will work
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136278
I want the 7200RPM, but wasn't sure 3.0GB would work on the intel controller, thinking it may only
support 1.5GB
also, when I reinstall leopard, does it allow me to format the drive to HFS+ or how would I do
this?
Thanks,

Smartparts is really aiming to span the full
range of things here at CES by announcing four new digital photo frames that range from 2.4- to
19-inches in size. Starting on the small side, we've got the 2.4-inch SP24PC and 3.5-inch SP35PC,
both of which tout touch sensitive screens and feature a 320 x 240 resolution. The only difference
between the two is the amount of internal storage; the former holds around 50 images while the
latter holds 100. Moving up significantly is the 10-inch SPX10WF (800 x 600 resolution) and the
19-inch SPX19WF (1,448 x 880), which tout one-push internet setup, automatic image correction and
built-in WiFi modules. All four are slated to ship in March for $29.99, $39.99, $199.99 and $299.99
in order of mention. Full releases are after the break.

Sony today announced a new 12-megapixel Cyber-shot® camera (model DSC-W220) that
combines powerful imaging features with intelligence to make taking great pictures easy.br / br /
The entry-level W model has features that until now were only found in high-end models (DSC-W150
and DSC-W170), including Intelligent Scene Recognition and Dynamic Range Optimizer.br / br /
“This camera is perfect for customers who forget to change settings to the right scene mode,
do not have the time to change settings or do not know what setting to use” said Karim
Noblecilla, senior product marketing manager in the Digital Imaging Division at Sony Electronics.
“It chooses the correct scene mode, which makes it easy to use.”br / br / Intelligent
Scene Recognition automatically recognizes a total of five scenes—twilight
portrait, twilight, twilight using a tripod, backlight and backlight portrait. It optimizes camera
settings for shooting situations, taking an additional shot in low and bright light scenarios when
there are two different approaches to shooting a scene so users can choose which picture they would
like to keep.br / br / The camera’s Dynamic Range Optimizer uses a sophisticated algorithm to
determine the best exposure and contrast settings in almost any shooting environment, giving images
a natural look with clearer details that match what you see with your naked eye.br / br / The W220
camera has a 2.7-inch LCD screen (measured diagonally) and Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar 4X
optical zoom lens with 30 millimeter (equivalent) wide angle view. It includes Optical
SteadyShotâ„¢ image stabilization to minimize blur without affecting picture

the moment it happens. You can use the adult or child priority setting when shooting scenes
containing both adults and children, and the camera will distinguish one face from another.br / br
/ Bundled Picture Motion Browser (PMB) software allows you to quickly organize images on a
compatible PC and upload images to the Web. You can search and organize images by event, smile or
face, including children and infants. Then you can display them in calendar or chronological views
organized into folders. Of course, you can also share, print or save your scrapbooks.br / br /
Images can be stored and managed on both the camera’s 15MB internal memory and an optional
Memory Stick® media card. The camera’s high definion output and HD slideshow with
music let you share images on HDTV sets, including Sony’s BRAVIA® flat-panel LCD
models (HDMI cable not included).br / br / Pricing and Availabilitybr / The DSC-W220 camera is
available in silver, black, pink and blue for about $190. The camera and a range of accessories,

feel like if i was able to type on something like that it would be a lot easier than using the

Hello peeps. You may or may not have seen me around. Anyway I just thought I would bring attention
to the wonder of reading comics on your UNJAILBROKEN 2G iPod Touch. This app has been around for
some time but is hidden away on the Jailbreak Apps forum and many of you may not realise it is now
on the appstore. Anyway, for those of you who are new to all this iPod Touch stuff I give you
iComic!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reading Comics On Your 2G iPod Touch
Unfortunately for comic fans, iTunes converts all photos (or jpeg comic images) to a downscaled
resolution when transferring to your iPhone or iPod touch so comic jpegs are unreadable. iComic
overcomes this and utilises the touch-screen zoom, landscape view and accelerometer to provide a
great portable electronic comic book reader and zipped image viewer. Welcome to the world of
iComic.

iComic is developed and maintained by Yoshitake Yamamoto (Yama) from Japan.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iComic is priced at $0.99 on the Appstore. [iTunes Linky].
iComic for Appstore FAQ
Download the FAQ I released for iComic yesterday from the links below. It tells you everything you
need to know about getting the most out of iComic.
AppStore_iComic_V1.3_FAQ.pdf for Adobe Reader
iComicFAQ.zip for iComic
AppStore_iComic_V1.3_FAQ.doc for Word
and a direct link to download from in iComic (limited bandwidth server)

Note that the main thread for discussion and independent support for iComic is HERE.
And for those of you looking for an ebook reader for your 2G iPod Touch and a great selection of
books I would highly recommend this thread HERE.

Guangdong province may be the "world's factory," prosperous and bustling (modulo a few toy-factory
riots), but the development there is wildly uneven, as is evidenced by this shambolic school in
Heyuan City: On December 25, 2008, the South.cn's Guangdong Development Forum carried a series of
photos of the perilous conditions at the Jiutang Elementary School in Zijin County, Heyuan City,
Guangdong Province. The school was called as the "most run-down school in Guangdong province." The
person who made the post also divulged: "Jiutang Elementary School has witnessed 60 years of storms
under which the helpless children attempt to learn. During the rainy season, the teacher and his
students lived in fear. The relevant government departments paid no attention to them. Can the
young flowers of the motherland be neglected this way?" In the same post, there were also
photographs of the majestic buildings of the relevant government departments in Zijin county. This
was a way for expressing the anger over the long-term negligence of the problems at the Jiutang
Elementary School. This story about the bitter lives of these children was shocking. Within a few
days, the photos became red-hot on the Internet. But many Chinese people clearly do not have
knowledge about the uneven development within Guangdong province. Given the "aura of the number one
province in terms of the economy," many netizens were skeptical about these photos who looked like
as if they belong in western China. "Can there be places that are this impoverished in Guangdong
province?" The Most Run-down School in Guangdong Province...br clear="both" style="clear: both;"/
