With a third (Design for Print) on the way. I have quiet a huge portfolio, most of which is offline
current due to sheer lack of time to upload. Although I do plan to have the full portfolio up by
the new year. Also, I am currently finishing two iPhone icons, and a business logo for two separate
clients - which when finished will also be showcased on the site
Maybe your not an iPhone developer? Drop me a line anyway. From iPhone icon's, to business
logos,
design for Google Ad's and more, and with 7 years graphic design experience under my belt,
I'm now looking to go into this in a big way.
Maybe you know someone who's looking for graphic design?

think that is the grandest, and I'll likely gawk atcha in DC during DrupalCon where a 3D

pThe identity of this person will forever be known to only two people (me and quot;himquot;), so
please don't ask. Although I am a little bit creeped out by this email, this Public Service
Announcement isn't about making anyone feel uncomfortable. (I've sent my fair share of weird emails
that have been fuelled by inside jokes and caffeine and not at all fuelled by sanity, so I'm hardly
one to judge. This person has gotten a quick reply back and knows how I feel about the
email.)Â /p pThis blog post is actually a specific request to please never
quot;gawkquot; at me from a distance. Say hello and introduce yourself! I verge on crowd-phobic. I
hate having to interact with a room full of pre-clustered people. Delivering a presentation to a
few hundred people? No problem. Facilitating huge discussion groups? Love it! But I'd rather have
teeth pulled than quot;work a room.quot; So the next time we're both together in the same room,
please come up and introduce yourself. I'll be the one sitting in the corner noodling with tech to
avoid having to break into a cluster of people and say hi./p
I'm having a terrible time deciding on whether to buy a new 2G or 1G, i just want to use it for
music movies and some jailbroken apps (GBA emulator, Winterboard etc.), however if you think that
the app store is so godly that i dont need a jailbreak please let me know, cause when it comes to
this i really only know a few things. I have complied a few questions that i would like answered by
anyone who owns a 2G touch.
1. how much faster is the new 2g? I mean if its not that big of a difference then i wont
bother.
1.5: the ipod touch 1G has a jailbreak, when they jailbreak the 2G do you think that all the apps
will transfer, or do you think they will have to be rewritten especially for the 2g.
2. is it really that hard to adjust the volume on a 1g that they had to add a volume rocker?
3. If i dont care about line in (recording i know but i have a computer) support and a speaker
(thats cool but i have good headphones i probably would never use this) then should i even bother
with the new touch?

Michael’s here at MIT and just gave a great talk. While he was preparing for it, apropos of
conversations I’ve had recently with him and Beth Cardier, I wrote something that I think
is a story generator, and which is a self-contained 1K python program. Here it is: story.py
Let me know if you think it’s a story generator, and, whether or not you think it is, if
you think of anything interesting about stories and computation as a result of looking at the
program and running it.

Progressive Base — When is Obama going to appoint someone who
reflects the progressive base that brought him to the White House? — He won the
crucial Iowa caucuses on the strength of his anti-Iraq War stance, and many progressive peace and

Ok, since there's an app out now where you can do landscape email. Shouldn't there be one for
textin as well ? It would make textin so much easier. Is there one in development ? The n00b thanks
you in advance for answers. lol :D
Earlier on Boing Boing, Cory blogged that President-elect Barack Obama has appointed Net Neutrality
advocates and "virtual worlds nuts" Kevin Werbach and Susan Crawford to co-chair his FCC transition
team. Okay, so we might know the guy as Kevin Werbach out here in meatspace, but to his Terror Nova
Guild buddies, he's better known as Supernovan Jenkins (the first name presumably a reference to
Werbach's Supernova tech conference series), and he's a Level 70 Tauren Shaman. Livejournaler
Waltermonkey opines on the deeper meaning of Werbach's WoW identity: What does this tell us about
him, as a person, as a gamer, as a government official? I will attempt to translate all the
dorkese. 1. - CULTURAL RELATIVISM Every player in WoW belongs to one of two warring factions,
Alliance or Horde. Werbach is Horde. Children often choose to be Alliance because they perceive
them as "the good guys", but students of history (both ours and Azeroth's) recognize that Alliance
culture is based on medieval European culture and Horde culture is based on the indigenous cultures
that were supplanted by the West. Werbach is a Tauren (a minotaur), which basically makes him a
Native Kalimdorian. The Tauren revere nature, living in wigwams near giant totem poles. As a Shaman
(see below), he could also have chosen a troll (blue-skinned Jamaican-like monster) or an orc
(green-skinned Klingon-like monster), so there must be something about the cow-man that appeals to
his liberal guilt. Read the whole thing: victory or death! yes we can! (Waltermonkey; thanks Drew
Coombs of Project Lore! Recompense of phat lewt, reagents, and pizza await thee.)...br

This evening we've added our official review for Summit Entertainment's Twilight, the hotly anticipated
adaptation to Stephenie Meyer's teen vampire drama. "This entire adaptation was carried through
by my wonderful Catherine Hardwicke, who took a shiny little turd and transformed it into a
watchable, slightly enjoyable film." You can read the full review, with minor spoilers, by
clicking the title above. Don't forget to write your own review and
tell other B-D readers what you thought! The film is about a high school girl named Bella falls in
love with a vampire. The new couple leads a rival vampire clan to pursue them and attempt to force
her to decide if she, too, wishes to become one of the undead.
The EFF is representing a NYC activist who is protesting redevelopment efforts for New York City's
Union Square. The woman, Savitri Durkee, set up a website parodying the website of Union Square
Partnership, a group that is pushing to heavily redevelop Union Square. Such a parody is certainly
a reasonable and lawful way of making a point and protesting USP's actions. However, USP basically
fired off multiple shots against Durkee to get the site taken down, starting with a
href="http://www.eff.org/press/archives/2008/11/18" target="_new"a DMCA takedown notice to Durkee's
hosting company/a, followed by a copyright lawsuit against Durkee and a claim with WIPO that the
domain name Durkee used violated their IP, and demanding that it be handed over to USP. As the EFF
notes, parody is protected under fair use doctrine, and it seems quite clear that USP is doing all
this to stifle Durkee's right to speak out against USP's redevelopment efforts.br /br /a

You probably recall that two days ago, when the new Xbox Experience launched, sadly, about 300 Sony
Pictures films were
unavailable for Netflix Watch Instantly on NXE, thus quashing your hopes of streaming The
Karate Kid series. At the time, it seemed possible that missing titles were due to the fact
that Xbox 360 manufacturer Microsoft and Sony are direct competitors. Well, according to a Sony
spokesperson, the problem isn't specific to the Xbox, nor is their beef competition-related in any
way. Sony also says it is in talks with the several "relevant parties" to work out these vague
licensing issues, though there was no word on when the issue would be resolved. We really do hope
it's soon because we're dying to see how everything turns out with the Cobra Kai.
