l’huile Meroll devant l’affiche
sérigraphiée, foutrement magnifique, vendue par Les Requins
Marteaux.

Luchadoritos. Il sera remplacé par Romuald
Reutimann, le dessinateur de Cité 14,
déjà à l’action dans le n°8 du magazine où il met en
scène un luchador gastronome. Un recueil 48 pages couleur cartonné des
Luchadoritos est prévu pour 2009.

Fred sez, "I just discovered that dozens of Amazon users have given Spore 1-star ratings because of
it's aggressive DRM. The game's average review is now around 2-stars. Are users acting in concert
as a centrally organized boycott, or are the ratings a natural market-based reaction that proves
DRM is an 'anti-feature'?" Spore losing the DRM Fight (Thanks, Fred and everyone else who suggested
this!)...

Look, we know how hard it is to hold in a secret, so we can sympathize entirely with Fry's on this.
While new Zunes and / or features are looking more and more likely for
September 9th, said e-tailer has already let slip a few new crucial details about the
forthcoming (er, already out)
120GB Zune. For
instance, we're looking at a Buy from FM option that enables users to tag sweet jams on the radio
for easy purchasing when they arrive back at their PC. Furthermore, we're seeing Device to Cloud,
Channels and Games options, all of which are further explained in the links below. In related news,
a shockingly blue 8GB flash Zune has also emerged on the very same website. Which is awesome if
you're really into blue.

.jpg) Well if you read our Five
Ways to Make a Cool Ghostbusters Sequel -- and agreed with our take -- then you'll be happy to
know that two of our wishes may soon come true. In an email to the Chicago
Tribune, Harold Ramis confirmed all this brand new Ghostbusters
3 talk, and added a few other interesting nuggets of info. Check it out:
"yes, columbia is developing a script for GB3 with my year one writing partners, gene
stupnitsky and lee eisenberg. judd apatow is co-producing year one and has made several other films
for sony, so of course the studio is hoping to tap into some of the same acting talent. aykroyd,
ivan reitman and i are consulting at this point, and according to dan, bill murray is willing to be
involved on some level. he did record his dialogue for the new ghostbusters video game, as did
danny and i, and ernie hudson. the concept is that the old ghostbusters would appear in the film in
some mentor capacity. not much else to say at this point. everyone is confident a decent script can
be written and i guess we'll take it from there."
So for those who wanted the original stars to be involved, this does sound like
good news -- except you're going to have to deal with the fact that they'll appear more as mentors
and torch passers than anything else, which I'm personally fine with. And whether you like it or
not, Apatow and his clan will probably be involved. Again, I think this is a good move ... but
surprisingly most of you thought otherwise. We shall have fun debating this one for a good while,
huh?

The simple
but strict rules for Road Runner cartoons.
1. Road Runner cannot harm the Coyote except by going "beep, beep".
2. No outside force can harm the Coyote -- only his own ineptitude or the failure of Acme
products.
3. The Coyote could stop anytime -- IF he was not a fanatic. (Repeat: "A fanatic is one who
redoubles his effort when he has forgotten his aim." -- George Santayana).
4. No dialogue ever, except "beep, beep".
5. Road Runner must stay on the road -- for no other reason than that he's a roadrunner.
6. All action must be confined to the natural environment of the two characters -- the southwest
American desert.
7. All tools, weapons, or mechanical conveniences must be obtained from the Acme Corporation.
8. Whenever possible, make gravity the Coyote's greatest enemy.
9. The Coyote is always more humiliated than harmed by his failures.
10. The audience's sympathy must remain with the Coyote.
Charles Miller
argues that John Hodgman's PC character in the Mac vs. PC commercials is like Wile E.
Coyote...likable but inept. (via df)

The Superficial - Because You're Ugly -

Hey, remember when Britney Spears' manager Larry Rudolph said she'd be
doing something "fun
and unexpected" to open the MTV Video Music Awards? That dude lied! After a prerecorded skit
with Superbad star Jonah Hill, Britney took the stage at last night's VMAs, said four
sentences and called it a day. No joke. Here's what came out of her mouth: "Thank you so much.
Thank you for all the love. I'm here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday, the 25th
anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and it starts right now."
Seriously, I've eaten Pop Tarts that've made me feel more alive. On top of her anti-climatic
opening, MTV also took it upon themselves to see that Britney Spears won three awards including
Video of the Year which I get it: They don't want her to go home and kill herself. Then again,
that's a whole lot of ass kissing for someone who basically firebombed last year's show in an explosive jiggle
of flab and sequins. Nice message to send to the kids, MTV. I can't wait to see Miley Cyrus
walk out of KFC with a bucket of chicken and Adnan Ghalib. Actually,
I do want to see that just to hear the entire south have a collective aneurysm. Video after the
jump.
