I recently bought a 15" powerbook and when you turn it on it shows the apple logo (grey screen)
then when booting into Tiger, it shows a black screen with white text detailing drivers and things
that are being loaded.
Is there any way of switching off this black screen booting?
I have even tried swapping harddrives and reinstalling Tiger but it still does it, so im guessing
it has nothing to do with the Tiger installation / Harddisk.

A mon sens, la pastèque qu’on voit sur plein de cartes symbolise le sourire des
noirs, ces êtres toujours gais, un peu comme des enfants trisomiques. Si quelqu’un a
une autre explication…
Au passage allez voir les videos proposées par la fille chez qui j’ai pris cette
video ; excellente sélection.

I really like this Tetris costume because it's easy to make and won't break the bank. My only

Does anyone know of a way to improve a MacPro's Airport range? I'm finding it's worse than my G5
was, probably since it has no external antenna, are there kits or anything anywhere that I could
use to add an external antenna for better range/signal-strength?
I believe the range and strength of my wireless N router is fine, but the MacPro has very varied
connection-strength to it.

so apple covers ipods for a year if they drop below 50% battery health. which mine definitely has
(its more like 20%).
however, since mine has been dropped they say they wont replace the battery even though it started
to die long before that (and did not get any worse because of being dropped).
is this sane? i mean, a battery has no moving parts.. anyone with experience or technical
knowledge?

That said, maybe there’s a smarter option?Nushio may appear to just aggregate listings from Indeed.com and Jobster,
but according to a mail in my inbox this morning, “It’s functional, and
