I was browsing MacRumors iPhone home page and saw this in the list of Apps.
I downloaded it, and it's totally cool. It allows you to password protect your
notepad so that you can write notes and reminders to yourself and no one
else can ever access them. :)

After lurking on MR for a while, I finally made up my mind and switched over to a mbp. After went
back and forth several time on which product, i purchased the previous generation of macbook pro,
although a very basic model c2d 2.4g 2gb and 86gt 256mb. Personally i preferred this design over
the new unibody, however i understand it is a matter of taste. [just finished my update, have to
restart]
This is an easy-to-use one touch dial app for phone dial / SMS dial on a predefined number and will
read the accelerometer data when you launch the app.
For example, when you launch the app on Portrait Mode, it will do SMS dial
and when on Landscape mode and put the phone to your ear, it will do the phone dial.
You can setup the behavior of Portrait / Landscape Dial Mode and reset the phone number in the
Settings App .
Simple steps to Update to and Jailbreak 2.2 using Quickpwn 2.1 and firmware 2.1
!!! NOTE : THIS IS FOR 2G iPHONE ONLY !!!
1. Open QuickPwn 2.1 and let it detect your
iPhone with firmware 2.1
2. go ahead with QuickPwn and browse for firmware 2.1 in your computer. after it gives ok, leave
QuickPwn open.
3. open iTunes and click UPDATE ("I SAID UPDATE" not restore)
to update to 2.2 ( if you have the 2.2 firmware file, use it for faster results :)
4. after iTunes finishes the update, close iTunes, go back to QuickPwn and hit next.
5. you can select: change bootlogos(work fine), installer (work but dont have any programs to
install), Cydia ( dont work, crashes after the first screen).
6. do the DFU procedures as QuickPwn instructions.
7. wait a little bit and enjoy your 2.2 jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 2G.
PS. dont do that if you dont know what are you doing.
this is just for the people that will not sleep before see the 2.2 running on jailbroken.
PS2. my advice, wait for the DevTeam to release the QuickPwn 2.2 :)
PS3. if you have a spare iphone with firmware 2.1, you can use it to do the fist steps with
QuickPwn and after the firmware browser screen, you may disconect it and connect your UPDATED 2.2
iphone to proceed.
I just got the new aluminum macbook, and am transferring things from my old Powerbook G4 to my new
macbook through an external hard drive. I was able to import all of my photos, but for some reason
it wont let me import my albums. What should I be exporting from my old iphoto onto my harddrive to
import my albums on the my new computer. This new iphoto wont let me import an xml file or any
album things, just the photos...

I have been away from the fourms for a VERY long time..
I have an original 8G Iphone running 1.1.4 Firmwire something has gone wrong to where itunes can no
longer reconigze it so i am pretty sure im going to have to restore.
What firmwire should i restore to, and what program is the ABSOLUTE easiest and fastest way to
jailbreak it. I dont have much time to spend on it due to work and school so im looking for the
