Ok so i have adobe lightroom on my mac and adobe photoshop cs3. they both work well together

thing is that iphoto wont sync its photos with lightroom so im not able to do certain things. such as when i import my photos though lightroom. the photos wont go to iphoto as well. it seems i have to import for both iphoto and lightroom. which is annoying.
i like to use lightroom for my RAW files and such. and iphoto as the library of all the photos i import. i wish they would make it so that lightroom and iphoto can be buddies! (i know they are of different makes but still)

any tips on what i can do to make lightroom a better experience? i tired aperature which IS comaptible with iphoto but it doesnt import my RAW files nicely..

i noticed i have duplicates of my pictures. all the pictures in my "pictures" folder and iphoto's lil cache as well. if i delete the ones in my folder will the photos in iphoto still work?

I bought a WD 320gb SE16 from micro-center a few weeks ago but it turned out to be the dual platter version and is loud as hell. So I found a used single platter version online but it had a really high pitch whine so returned it! I'm now looking for a Seagate at Newegg but am confused with all their different models.

I think the 7200.11 is the kind to get, but what is a Barracuda ES.2? And what are the differences between the 640gb & 500gb models in terms of # of platters? Also I want the latest tech. (should be quieter right?) so should I get a 32mb cache drive?

Synopsis :
Sawada Tsunayoshi, est un collégien médiocre, il n'est pas doué en sport et même si son cÅ“ur bat pour la jolie Kyoko, il n'a jamais trouvé le courage de se déclarer, à tel point que tout le monde le surnommer Tsunaze.
Un matin sa mère qui songe à lui faire prendre des cours supplémentaires, trouve dans la boite aux lettres, une carte: Celle de Reborn un professeur particulier, elle décide donc de l'engager.
Mais sous les allures de bébé de Reborn se cache un redoutable tueur en série de la famille Vongola, une famille mafieuse d'Italie. Reborn est en mission sur ordre du Parrain le Neuviéme, il doit se rendre au Japon pour former le Dixiéme du nom qui n'est autre que Tsuna....

Avis :
Avant même de commencer cette série j'en avais pas mal entendu parler, et vu des images un peu partout et ça avait éveillé ma curiosité, je me suis donc lancée et je doit dire que je n'ai pas été dessus, je dirais même que je suis accro à cette série ^^
Bon alors pour ce qui est de l'animation, elle est bien gérée, c'est fluide, le dessin est bien, la flamme de la dernière volonté c'est super bien faite et puis les persos ont la classe dans leurs coté sérieux. Les disproportions d'échelle notamment pour Reborn, Lamba, I-Pin et les autres arcobaleno sont rigolottes.
Pour ce qui est de l'histoire j'ai vraiment accrochée. Le monde de la mafia qui débarque dans la vie d'un collégien japonais c'est assez originale. La confrontation des deux mondes est assez terrible, d'un coté l'une des plus grande famille mafieuse et de l'autre un collégien looser très attachant. C'est ce qui fait l'un des premiers atout de cette anime, le lien entre Tsuna et Reborn, plus profond qu'il n'y parait au premier abord avec un Reborn qui maltraite Tsuna à longueur de journée avec des méthodes trés "mafieuses"!!
Le deuxiéme atout de cette série c'est la diversité des personnages secondaires qui gravitent autour de Tsuna. Au fur et à mesure de l'histoire ils deviennent de plus en plus étoffés et de plus en plus important, "la famille" de Tsuna^^

Les 20 premiers épisodes sont ennyeux mais accrochez vous ça vaut le coup!!

Au début le schéma des épisodes est trés répétitif, Les différents personnages se mettent en place et on a droit à une dose de blague et de fan service un peu lourd, mais après on rentre vraiment dans l'histoire et là ça déménage!!!!!
Sur les 96 épisodes sortis on a droit à trois "histoires" la deuxième, le combat pour les anneaux étant je trouve le plus intéressant.
Au fur et à mesure l'histoire devient plus grave plus sérieuse, on suit l'évolution de Tsuna et sa prise de conscience des responsabilités qu'il l'attende.
Bien que longue à se mettre en place, la série est bien rythmée, les épisodes plus légers s'intercalant avec les moments graves notamment dans la troisième histoire (celle en cours) ou les aventures de Haru et de Kyoko apportent une touche de douceur et de légerté à la trame principale.

Et puis l'histoire actuelle est aussi trés prenante, les armes farfelues de cette série étant mise à l'honneur^^

Pour ce qui est des différences entre le mange et l'anime, l'anime est moins "sanglante moins violente" que le manga (pour les transformations de Tsuna notamment)comme souvent; l'anime joue plus souvent sur le coté humoristique exacerbé quitte à en faire trop.
C'est plus lissé et politiquement correct, avec notamment Gokudera qui allume ses battons de dynamite par magie alors qu'il fume dans le manga et les allume avec ses cigarettes.

Pour ce qui est de l'ost la bande son est sympathique avec des thèmes selon les personnages ou les situations qui mettent bien en valeur l'action (la musique de Reborn me fait marrer^^ et colle bien au perso, comme celle de Mukuro assez angoissante) et des opening et ending assez variés.

Conclusion :
Vous n'avez pas encore regarder cette série, mais vous attendez quoi vite vite courrez y ça vaut vraiment la peine!!!!

I've had 3 hard drives crash with Newsbin data on them. It does stress the hard drives. Two had bad sectors that I repaired with Spinrite. The third was only a month old, and completely died. All I got was a rattle if shook. That one I'm attributing to the fact it was a notoriously bad Seagate Green Label drive.

I download to a USB drive and I've only been having problems with hard drives failing using Newsbin when they stopped putting fans in the external cases. The new drives get so hot they age the black plastic cases to gray in a few weeks.

Maybe there's a way to add an option to create a large memory cache to keep down the disk activity, like Imgburn has.

At the advice of my son, I've purchased an iMac (Mac OS X, Version 10.5.4, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM), and I like it despite the steep learning curve. If I were using a Windoze os, I'd be able to clear the cache for computer file searches, and the History would be cleared without losing the files that were searched for. I'm trying to learn how to do the same (i.e., clear the cache of searched files) for searches I've done on my iMac

I open finder and on the left side of the window, I see the headings:

"DEVICES" (with xx's iMac, Macintosh HD, and iDisk listed below the heading),

"PLACES" (with Desktop, Applications, Documents, and bp listed below the heading), and

"SEARCH FOR" (with Today, Yesterday, Past Week, All Images, All Movies, All Documents under the heading).

I know that this area on the left side of Finder window is referred to as the "Sidebar". When I click on Today, Yesterday, Past Week, All Images, All Movies, All Documents, I see hundreds of documents from numerous searches. What I want to do is clear the contents of each of the categories, so that I can start searches with less clutter, etc.

How do I clear the search results (i.e., the listed files, images, movies and/or documents) from each of the categories listed under the "SEARCH FOR" heading?

Just to be clear, I want to be able to click on the Today, Yesterday, Past Week, All Images, All Movies, All Documents categories under "SEARCH FOR" heading and have absolutely no files show up.

Also to be clear, I've searched this site for an answer to this question, but the response was not an answer. The response was merely the suggestion that the categories be removed from the Sidebar area, reprinted here:

"Ah, alright...watch out! These are not history items. These are Smart Folders showing actual content of your hard drive, used Today, Yesterday and so on. DON'T delete them or you will run into serious trouble. To remove the Smart Folders from the sidebar, just drag them off the sidebar and they will vanish in a puff of smoke. /Rupert"

I've found that removing the categories does not clear them of the search histories. I can remove them, and then put them back on, but the same hundreds of files are also put back on. The problem with Rupert's suggestion is that I don't want to get rid of the categories, I want to get rid of the contents of the categories.

Sorry about the long-winded question, but it's better to throw out information you don't need than to wonder about information you don't have.

The problem is with certain webpages with flash, it literally flashes. Some are worse than others, but it's not limited to firefox, it's happening in safari as well.
Any ideas? I'm clueless and it's more annoying than anything, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Enfin, c’est le cas si vous utilisez Feedburner.

Je ne comprenais pas d’où ça venait, je sais que Blogasty n’était pas en cause et les flux rss semblaient correctes.

C’est donc ce vendredi soir que j’ai commencé a chercher une solution. Et qu’ai-je trouvé?
Une redirection 302.
Après plusieurs plantages sur Fopen, SimpleXML, Curl ( même en spécifiant le UserAgent ) , j’ai pu réalisé que mais mon flux feedburner est redirigé vers http://feedproxy.feedburner.com/bleebot , un flux RSS qui n’est pas du tout à jour !

En fesant quelques recherches, j’ai vu que je n’étais pas le seul qui soit touché par ce mal. Original Signal, par exemple. Mais apparemment d’autres aussi:
Mon Technorati n’est pas à jour et apparemment Wikio non plus.
A vérifier plus profondément car contrairement à Blogasty, ils ont peut être un cache un peu lent.

Quant à http://www.rssmix.com/ il plante complètement sur mon fluxRSS

Pourquoi?

Alors qu’au début, j’ai pensé à un bug de la pars de Feedburner, puis par un banissement de l’ IP du serveur de Blogasty ( ce n’est pas le cas ) je crois maintenant que c’est bel et bien voulu.

On peut aisément le comprendre. Le duplicate content !

Je retrouve assez souvent mes articles sur d’autres sites pompés grâce à mon fluxRSS.
Ceci permet donc de :
1° limiter le contenu dupliqué.
2° Limiter les backliens si facilement obtenus.

En gros Google voudrait profiter de sa main mise sur les fluxRSS pour dicter de nouvelles règles.

Je n’ai pas tester mais peut être qu’en tranferant sont flux de feedburner à Google Adsense, le problème disparait. Ca ne serait pas très étonnant de la par de Mister G.

Et Netvibes, iGoogle, Firefox alors?

Feedburner disposant de la liste des aggrégateurs les plus populaires, il lui est facile de sélectionner ceux qui doivent optenir la dernière mise à jour ou pas.
Ensuite, il y a peut être aussi la façon de récupérer le flux. par exemple, j’imagine mal voir un site récupérer un Flux RSS avec un script en Java pour l’afficher ensuite sur un faux blog.

Quel solution pour Blogasty?

Comme je l’ai dit plus haut, j’ai reçu beaucoup de mail et je pense me rappeler que j’ai trouvé une solution pour tous ou presque.

- La première évidemment c’est de poster ses articles manuellement.

- Votre vrais flux RSS ou Atom est peut être encore disponible. Par exemple sur http://votreblog.com/wp-atom.php.

Il suffirait  alors de changer l’adresse du flux dans vos paramettres Blogasty.

Peut être qu’en passant sur feedproxy.google.com ( version monétisée de Feedburner par Adsense ) le problème ne se pose plus ( ce serait une grosse arnaque quand même ) .

I know that this problem has been posted many times and i have tried sifting through those post to try and find the fix for my problem but sadly nothing listed worked...
