iGTK+ collage, in short gollage, is a program to generate photo collages with a Polaroid photo
frame./ibr / br / bAbout this version/bbr / * STILL ALIVE :) br / * version 0.3 br / * one new
features: br / o #1900939 Overlapping image preference: now you can specify the spreading of the
frames br / * better error handling br / * the final collage looks now better than the old version
0.2 because of better placement of each frame and the ability to choose how the frames should be
placed br / * Nevertheless there is one small issue with the memory usage, this will be fixed in
the next version. Also there will be a new GUI and a change of image handling, I think about it to
use cairo in further versions to render the collage, I hope this will improve the speed of
rendering. So, expect some updates and a better GUI in the near future.

Through Children's Literature: Creative Art Lessons for Caldecott Books/bbr/ 216 pages | Teacher
Ideas Press (December 15, 1994) | ISBN: 1563081547 | rar'd html | 3,5 Mb/divbr/ The award-winning
illustrations of 57 Caldecott Books (1938-1994) have inspired a multitude of lessons that guide
students in creating art with similar qualities. Focusing on such principles and elements as line,
color, texture, shape, value, and space, these classroom-tested projects have step-by-step
instructions, materials lists, and detailed illustrations for teachers who have little or no art
training. Various art media are explored, including pencil, crayon, marker, colored pencil, chalk,
stencils, collage, watercolor, tempera, color mixing, and printmaking. These projects use limited
materials so they're great for the classroom as well as the art room.

It's a Christmas Tree Ornament
Quote: When Deborah Lawrence got the invitation from the White House, the Seattle-based artist
decided to make a lefty political statement.
But she never expected it would hang on the official Christmas tree.
Laura Bush asked members of Congress to pick local painters to decorate ornaments for this year's
20-foot Fraser fir in the Blue Room. The globes (to be unveiled by the first lady tomorrow) are
supposed to showcase something special about each congressional district. Washington state's Rep.
Jim McDermott contacted a local arts organization, which asked Lawrence, a collage artist, to
create the local entry.

TradeMark Gunderson kindly ripped an out-of-print LP from 1973 by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop,
called Fourth Dimension. It's awesome. If you know only one thing of their work, it would be the
theme to Doctor Who, the venerable BBC sci-fi television series. They also did the sound effects.
And incidental music. In fact, they were a BBC department that produced all manners of strange
noises and sound effects (and theme songs) for over 200 other BBC shows. In doing so, they paved a
superhighway of innovation that led electronic music growth for decades, from studio engineering to
electronic composition to sound collage to synthesizer technology. I came across this album in a
dilapidated Leeds (UK) record shop for just a couple euros and have held onto it for dear life
— BBC Radiophonic Workshop on vinyl doesn’t sell cheap. The standout track
for me is easily Vespucci, a funky saunter with a very sampleable cool synth melody. The abstract
cover from this 1973 release looks quite a bit like a CD exploding, perhaps another
ahead-of-their-time move from these old-timers. BBC Radiophonic Workshop - Fourth Dimension...br
