plane and simple..WRONG!

from what iv gathered in teh past 34 hours of no sleep
my iphone has gone from completely ****ed to restored to 2.1 to upgrade to 2.2 and downloaded all the crap for 2.0downgrade but still cant find anything on downgrading, only usefull downgrade iv found so far was how to down grade 2.0 to 1.1.4 (which is where im trying to go since 2.x doesnt have any games for non apple registered users)

so right now i am at 2.2..i think
i used itunes to downgrade to 2.0
all went well, i had 2.0 no errors nothing
(got the iphone off ebay and it came with at&t unlocked simcard in it but canceled account so it activates the phone for me each time i install new firmware so i can check it in the settings right away to make sure if it worked or not)
so then i open up pwnage tool 2.0.1 as said by www.hackthatphone.com
i did everything according to how it says to and then i get "i haz failed" and cant figure out why.

after much reading it said not to have any other version of it on the computer or rename them so theres no confusion so i just deleted all the diferent versions i had and emptied the trash can.

and again i got i haz failed...

i really need this to work because i can not find a single thing on downgrading 2.2 to 1.1.4

only thing i found was the 2.0 to 1.1.4 using some files you gotta download for itunes for something i dont know i havent looked that far into it on the account that i havent even gotten to 2.0fw yet...

any help on this would be great my eyes are burning from computer screen madness so im going to bed lol
