Minuteur 5.0.4 Minuteur is an egg timer and a stopwatch. The intention was to have
a timer which is simple and immediate in use. Minuteur is also very flexible and extremely
configurable. Particular attention has been paid to the ergonomics of the programme. The basic
functionality of Minuteur is intuitive enough to be used right from the start.
- To set the timer quickly, type the required delay on the numeric keypad. To set a period of
30 minutes, type 3000 (for 30 minutes, 0 seconds). Type 300000 for 3 hours, or just 30 for 30
seconds. The countdown starts immediately.
- To set the alarm to go off at a specific time, hold Option/Alt and type the time in the
format hhmm.
- To start the stopwatch, hold Option/Alt and press Enter.
- To stop any timing, press Return, Enter or Escape.
- To pause Minuteur, press Spacebar.

Download Fortune from the App Store.
It's by Tapulous.
Open the app.
Tap the cookie three times.
Tap each side twice.
Then tap both at exactly the same time.
You will get a message saying that it is a secret fortune.
It should look like this.
Do it once more.
It gives hidden messages about the developers, why the app is so damn sexy, and occasionally a
chuck norris joke. :)

program to measure how much time you spend on jobs, time chess games, or to prevent you freezing
soft-drink cans? Egg is an easy to use timer that can do these tasks and more! It can count up and
down, is settable by second divisions from 1 second up to 45 days, and while its default window
size is compact, it can be varied to whatever size you want (including borderless full screen) to
allow you to see the count from across the room. Egg can display up to four timers at once, with
each one having its own time, font, colour (foreground and background), time-up sound and text,
repeat and direction settings. Additionally common times are settable with only two clicks from a
selection of 12 customisable times. When a countdown has finished Egg can sound a beep or play a
common Windows audio file (including MP3s) or it can run a file. The sounds can be set to repeat
and both sounds and files can be selected randomly.

Okay i think i might just be doing this to rant because i know nobody else knows any more than I do
at the moment, but i cant contain my excitement / frustrations / apple explosion of
awesomeness.
Anyhoo, i do have a few legitimate questions, but lets start from square one:
I sold my macbook last month before the iPod event in anticipation of a macbook pro update, I've
been planning on upgrading to the Pro since May-ish but decided it would be best to wait till july
when they were expected to be updated... then august... september... october, and... that puts us
here!
I've been waiting for way to long to continue to wait for the first product cycle to end,
or even shipping, so i wont be getting any build to order, i'll just be going to the apple store
asap and getting my brand new computer :)
The problem is this, i know i want a 500GB Hard Drive, and 4 GB of ram, but since apple
(obviously) hasnt released the specs i dont know if there will be a SKU that comes with these
things (or how obnoxiously overpriced it will be). So i want my macbook to be functional (with
everything) immediately, but i dont want to buy 4GB of ram off new egg and make sure it gets
shipped here by tuesday only to find out you can buy a model with it standard.
I think we can safely assume that they will be using the nVidia chipsets and thus will be using
DDR3 (the nVidia chipsets do use DDR3, no?), so i'd have to get it off newegg regardless.
I feel like i had more questions but in my flurry of excitement i've lost them.
Hopes*:
Mag-latch
Black Chicklets (back-lit)
Higher MP iSight
(obviously) Centrino 2
Higher Resolution Screen
2.5 to 2.8 GHz
Dreams**:
Blu-Ray
Glass Trackpad (with a screen underneath) (multitouch)
13.3" / 1680 x 1050 (if not higher)
2.8 to 3.06 GHz
iSight HD
slot for iPhones sim card
SDHC card slot
4GB Ram Standard 8 GB option
iTunes Games For Mac Store <3
Black Apple Logo (back-lit)
*I expect all of these
**I expect none of these, with the exception of Blu-ray mayyybe, and a glass trackpad,
doubtfully.
:D:D:eek::eek::p:eek::D:):apple::apple::cool: IM SO EXCITED I CANT HELP BUT ACT LIKE A NEWBIE, IM
SORRY.
EDIT: I knew i forgot something, i know this question has been asked to hell and back, but i feel
as though i have a unique situation:
Glossy Vs. Matte (no dont close the window just yet, keep reading, please)
First off- is this only something you can do build to order or do they have different SKU's for
both?
Second off- I take alot of pictures and i edit alot of pictures, I mostly take pictures of live
bands, but i never print my photos because they usually just put them on their websites, myspaces,
etc. So exact color isnt really a huge thing for me, and i like the bright popping colors that
glossy offers, plus i have a cinema display for when i DO need correct colors, so i guess i
basically just answered my own question and should go with glossy... but is there anything else i
should think/know about first?
thanks for any replies.

img class=face src=http://planet.ubuntu.com/heads/jucato.png alt= pemTaking a break from my website
#8220;duties#8221; (some other blog post), I thought of doing some UserBase #8220;marketing#8221;.
This has been one of the pet projects of the KDE Community Working Group and one that I#8217;ve
been personally and deeply involved in. This #8220;tour#8221; tries to highlight some of the
features and goals of the wiki./em/p h2What is UserBase?/h2 pFormally speaking, KDE UserBase is a
community-driven site aiming to become a knowledge base targeting end-users. In short, it is a
community wiki for users and KDE usage (For KDE development and system administration, we have a
href=http://techbase.kde.org/KDE Techbase/a). It#8217;s goal is to collect, collate, and connect
resources, information, and links that are relevant and of interest to KDE users. It also aims to
be a kind of home for KDE users everywhere, a place where they can share knowledge with one
another, and possibly even discuss certain issues (to a limited extent since KDE has more proper
venues for certain topics). The a href=http://userbase.kde.org/UserBaseUserBase page/a explains in
more detail./p h2UserBase Features/h2 pUserBase is still a toddler compared to other KDE websites.
And yet I am completely amazed at how much it has grown since our #8220;soft launch#8221; last
September. The wiki has quite a number of content already, and in different languages as well. And
we#8217;re expecting more to come (hopefully after more #8220;publicity#8221;). At the moment,
we#8217;ve grouped all content roughly into four categories, as shown in our front page:/p
dtstrongIntroduction to KDE/strong/dt ddThese pages contain introductory material to both KDE and
UserBase. Hopefully, it will grow to give new and prospective users a glimpse into KDE, its parts
(such as Plasma), and the community. It is also the home of the new KDE 4 FAQ as well as the KDE
Glossary./dd p/p dtstrongResources/strong/dt ddThis section contains links to sites, pages, IRC
channels, forums, etc. where you could get help for issues as well as further information about KDE
and KDE applications. Maybe it could even include in the future a list of distributions that ship
KDE. A Troubleshooting section is available for technical issues as well. There#8217;s even a page
that gives advice on how to properly ask for help. A bit of courtesy and good old preparation goes
a long way in getting helped./dd p/p dtstrongApplication Catalogue/strong/dt ddA directory of the
different kinds of software distributed by KDE as well as programs created by the community. I
think this has the most exhaustive list of core KDE applications in existence (without scouring
through SVN like I did). Some pages for applications may contain more details than others. The
policy is to provide essential information about an application and links to other resources,
specially its website, if it exists./dd p/p dtstrongTutorials/strong/dt ddThis is where I#8217;m
hoping the bulk of UserBase will be. Guides. HowTo#8217;s. Tips amp; Tricks. You name it. It#8217;s
a place where you can go crazy sharing with the rest of the world your neat little trick for
boosting productivity 500%. Found a hidden feature or an easter egg? We#8217;d love to hear about
it. Of course, official documentation will always be available at the KDE Documentation site, and
artwork is always welcome at KDE-Look.org./dd p/p h2So, what can UserBase do for you?/h2 pIf it
hasn#8217;t been obvious yet, UserBase aims to be something like a central directory for KDE
information. It may or may not contain the information itself, but if there#8217;s information out
there, UserBase will provide a link. So users won#8217;t have to dig through thousands of Google
search results. Of course, it will be impossible to link to each and every KDE-related content out
there, but at least UserBase could be a starting point./p h2Nowhellip; what can strongyou/strong do
for UserBase?/h2 pThese may probably sound nice and all, but there#8217;s one important piece
missing; strongYOU/strong. A community endeavor such as UserBase will only truly succeed with the
support of, well, the community. And that includes you. At the moment, there is still a lot of
content that needs to be written, a lot of KDE resources unaccounted for, and a lot of tips that
are unshared. UserBase is a way for users to get more involved with KDE and to help build up the
KDE community and a great way to contribute to this awesome project./p pWe#8217;re looking forward
to seeing more content, more links, and more interesting tricks in UserBase. And we#8217;re looking
forward to hearing from you, KDE users. So head on over to a
href=http://userbase.kde.orguserbase.kde.org/a, log in with your Open ID account, and start typing
away./p pP.S. Be sure to read the a href=http://userbase.kde.org/UserBase/GuidelinesContribution
Guidelines/a on your way there./p hr / h2Coming soonhellip;/h2 pUserBase is still growing. We (the
CWG as well as some KDE system administrators) are constantly thinking of ways and extensions to
improve the wiki. So a bit of patience is requested if some stuff still don#8217;t work or
don#8217;t work properly. And probably leave a note in the page for a
href=http://userbase.kde.org/Userbase_Technical_IssuesUserBase technical issues./a/p

Today at Boing Boing Gadgets, the morning started with the shrill tintinnabulation of a green tea
telephone, which we profusely stabbed with a handy philips head. That accomplished, dived into the
techno-flotsam: Beschizza claimed to have a thousand uses for a pocket LED scroller, yet cited
none. We looked at a fake electro-cigar for cyborg cigar aficionados, and then dug into our
breakfast with LEGO fork and spork. Realish news: the 360 may get Blu-Ray and the new Nintendo DSi
will get more RAM. Brownlee revealed his lack of foresight by oggling some L-bent HDMI cables, and
admired a Portal-style oviposited recycling egg. Tron? It really happened! Toy Story's creepy baby
doll robot spiders crawl all over you. A backseat car window becomes a kick-ass SHMUP. And Disney's
latest DVD release contains a 120 page EULA. Joel looked at a swank calculator made in a video game
and reviewed the iPhone's surprisingly wonderful arcade RTS, Galcon. We learned that there may well
be an $800 laptop announced by Apple at its October 14th notebook event, and Rob crunched some
