I'm going to update my computer this month. I have a decent GPU, an nvidia 8800 GTS 512. I'm going to step up to a 24" 1900x1200 monitor. Would it be more cost effective for me to buy another GTS 512 (which is only $150) and run them SLI? I have Ubuntu 7.04 on a desktop. When I installed it, I had a 19 inch screen. Later on I moved the box and plugged it to a 15 inch screen. At boot up, the Kubuntu logo does not show up and it's as if there is no signal.
