PlayStation 3 -

There's always been a good chance that Grand Theft Auto 4 ( Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) would make it to the
PC, but there appears to be no sign of it hitting the platform just yet. That being said, we were
surprised to find that the Malaysian edition of gaming mag PCGamer appears to claim that GTA 4 is
heading to the PC.
Carrying the tagline, "Now on Console, Soon on PC," the cover picture prominently displays Niko Bellic in fighting form. The screen capture above was taken from the official
PCGamer Malaysia website - you can check it for
yourself in the Via link below.
Seeing as it's just a cover picture, it's not a 100 confirmation of the game heading to the PC, but
if PCGamer Malaysia happens to have some exclusive coverage that no one else has on the Internet
(much less what other PCGamer counterparts across the globe might have), we'd certainly like to
know what it is.
If any of you are in Malaysia right now or have a copy of the magazine, let us know what was said
about GTA 4 in the comments below. We'll be on the lookout for any additional news on GTA 4 for the
PC, so keep checking QJ for updates.

We were just a ... Wii bit shocked when a new Grand Theft Auto was announced for Nintendo DS and
not the Big N's wildly popular home console. Still, it's no doubt a coup, but what about a proper
Wii installment in the series?
MTV Multiplayer asked Nintendo of America prez Reggie Fils-Amie just that. When prodded on the
likelihood that a DS version of GTA might lead to a greater possibility of GTA for Wii, Reggie
stated that "GTA on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take-Two want to do," adding, "From
our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do well, I'd love
to see it on the platform."
We're pretty sure Reggie meant a GTA that's built from the ground up for Wii. Or perhaps he was
just getting into the GTA swing of things? If so, naughty Reggie!

PlayStation marketeer Peter Dille believes Final Fantasy XIII going cross-platform is not worth
getting upset about.
"What you have with Final Fantasy XIII is a lot like what [Microsoft] paid for with GTA IV. It's
not an exclusive on their platform. It's now a cross-platform game," Dille told MTV
Multiplayer.
"Consumers responded to GTA IV on the PS3 just as they did on the 360... And I think if you fast
forward to when Final Fantasy XIII comes out I think you're going to have millions of people who
grew up playing Final Fantasy on the PlayStation playing it on a PlayStation 3.
"They spent a lot of money, I'm sure, to get Final Fantasy onto the 360, but at the end of the day
it's on our platform as well."
Dille went on to talk about Microsoft opening the chequebook in order to secure big titles, but
argued that developers who want a "global return" from their games will choose PS3.
"If you look at the global footprint, PlayStation 3 dominates in Japan where the 360 is really
irrelevant. In Europe, the PlayStation 3 is already past the 360. And in the United States you have
a dogfight," added Dille.
"So back to the third-party community, they're looking at what's going on, they're realigning their
development resources to exploit PS3 and I think they understand that if they want to have a global
return on their investment, PlayStation 3 is the only place they're going to get it."

Reggie Fils-Aime has said that he would love to see a Grand Theft Auto game on Wii, claiming that
Nintendo and Take Two have a good relationship.
"A 'GTA' on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take Two want to do," Reggie said whilst
speaking to MTV.
"And again, from our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do
well, I'd love to see it on the platform." You and every hardcore Wii owner, Reggie.Despite his
desire, the NoA president did admit that he had yet to have a conversation with Take Two about the
possibility of a GTA title coming to Wii.
Call it a hunch though, but if the Wii user base keeps growing Rockstar would be mad not to start
at least a side project for it. After all, it's fast running out of PS2 games to port over...
