What would be the best programing language for MAC?

What would be the best DVD Creating / Editing software - Other than TOAST cause it's giving me a headache (it's looking like a huge waste of money)

Software that will run XP GAMES on MAc without having to instal VMWARE / Bootcamp XP

p.s Can anyone shed light onto my other thread about Toast 9. - after i installed perian whenever i try to burn a dvd it crashes.
