I downloaded Winterboard on my Itouch, and than try to select a Theme once I dl it. And it refreshes and I slide it to unlock my itouch. And nothing has changed, what am I doing wrong?

I need some help adding applications or games. I have downloaded a few games from Itunes and do not know how to get them on my Itouch. They show up in Itunes but not on my Itouch.

my itouch will not get enough signal to connect to my router. or well any router in fact. it will get one bar connect then disconnect instantly. is there a problem with my antenna is there anyway to fix this?

I think iPod Touch is a mouth full and iTouch is just plain stupid. So since the iPod Touch is related to the iPhone and the is a smartphone the why don't we (as in we I mean I) call it a SmartPod?

It's another one of my stupid ideas.

But I will have it 2 weeks later in my hands, my sister will bring it.. So, what should I prepare until it comes? I downloaded the latest iTunes, and added my music, my videos, and applications. I have never used an ipod before, can i transfer them at the sametime? or can i transfer my files one by one?

And, will my applications crahs if i install it immediately all of them?

And, can i update it to 2.2 ; it brings my language, Turkish.

I mean, i have never owned an ipod, what do you suggest me to do, or not to do??

New to this forum but I hope that someone would have some helpful advice for me. I have a 32g Itouch that I got when they first came out around Valentines this year....I hadn't any previous problems with it. Last night while using it it froze no keys worked. I simultaneously hit the home key and the power key....then I ended up with a white screen. IT is now a dull grey but I am unable to do anything. Has anyone had this happen? Were you able to fix it?

How come everytime I connect my Itouch to my wall charger it says "charging is not supported with this accesory". There is also a DISMISS button I have to press. The wall charger works on my nano though. What gives?

Today I updated my ipod touch 1st generation from firmware 2.1 to 2.2. I plugged my touchmod headset into my itouch, and tried fring test call and skype in fring and Nimbuzz. The headset speaker works, but the mic still does not work (I am not sure whether the mic has broken since I have not used it for a long time after i updated to 2.1).

Has anyone else tested your touchmod mic or headset on firmware 2.2?

I'm getting an Ipod touch on sunday and wanted to know if it reads pdf files.
Been looking on youtube alot and such. The PDF files i want has bookmarks in them but from what i'm seeing seems like its not possible to view the bookmarks in the pdf files. I want the bookmarks so it'll make it easier for me to view the page i want to view.

Now, this jailbreak is where you hack your itouch so you can add your own apps and what not. But I heard this can void the warrenty. If I do it, could I reset it, so I could send it back to apple incase anything happens?

I was reading a few threads, and the battery for the 2g doesent sound much better then the 1g. Is this true? Where could I go to find out how to make my battery last longer?

Hi, I need some help regarding my IPod Touch. Recently, I don't know why but my IPod Touch will automatically shut down the music player when I'm playing music. When the device is locked the music will stop automatically, and when it's not it will go to sleep mode even though I'm still using the music player. My firmware is 1.1.4.

The strange thing is the time taken for the device to go to sleep (or rather stop playing music) differs from time to time. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes, sometimes 10 minutes, and sometimes even 5 minutes. Just recently it stopped immediately after I started playing the music. And even when I'm not playing any music but just browsing through the songs, it will also be locked sometimes.

This doesn't happen when I'm playing videos or doing other things with my ITouch. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it the firmware problem, and is it necessary to send for repair?

when i sync my itouch on my computer for the first time it ask me do i want to update it to 2.2 from 2.1.1 i said no because in the future i like to jailbreak it when and if its becomes available hopefully it will.

and i want to know if i update to 2.2 now will that affect me from getting jailbreak when it comes?


i was thinking about the first gen itouch because of jail breakable but than saw the 2nd gen and had to get that because i herd its a bit faster navgateing and games play smoother and than the speaker which when i play games or videos sometimes i dont want to keep hooking up my headphones to be able to hear it. and i like the new look:)

right now im enjoying my itouch with the free apps from itunes so that should keep me going till jailbreak become available.
