Hi, guys, ive an M3 Ds real and cannot get Doom ds to run can anyone please help me with a step by step idouts guide from scratch to get this classic working for me. I messed around and got as far as selecting the normal game but left with two black screens, ive patched and done all sorts of things.
I think i need to start from the beginning if yall have the time.
I have the proper wad file.
maybe my file set up is all wrong ahhhH!!!
im confused.

Im looking to play games on the bootcamp machine so im not sure which OS is better for gaming right now on my 2006 iMAC 4 gigs of ram with the ATI 2600 256 Video card.

The question is XP uses less ram but can see less ram. Vista can see I believe 512mb more of ram 3.5 but its os uses more resources as well. so is that a moot point?

I'm playing Warhammer Online and a few other RPG type games. Which would be better for framerates and graphics!?

Someone said Vista 64 would be best as it will see all the ram, but from everything Ive read vista 64 wont run on this iMAC (32bit will) as Apple decided not to support it for the older ATI macs.. If anyone knows this to be untrue and knows a way to do it please let me know. I would prefer vista 64 but I can not find the drivers for this imac in bootcamp at all.

Ok, I jailbroke my itouch. Now I went and downloaded winterboard and WinSCP. I follow the directions for Ultimate Leopard 3.2, or any other theme. And go to winterboard and apply it.. but nothing changes. This is really making me angry, and help is appreciated.

Long time reader, first time poster.

I've searched long and hard for a similar post, but i havent found any on this or other forums.

ok so the problem is my phone keeps rebooting when i insert the sim card, not all the time though. when it doesn't crash, if someone calls me then the phone crashes. Also, the carrier sometimes is non-selectable. Bootneuter hangs on "Determing Current Settings.." BL 4.6 and FW 2.2 Baseband.

I've been sort of an iphone fixer here where i live so ive done everything, and i mean EVERYTHING. from winpwn to quickpwn to bootneuter to reverting previous baseband, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 2.2 etc.

i am totally swamped, i think it has to do when the baseband tries to communicate with the network. ive tried different sims all with no luck.

Ive been able to fix literally hundreds of phones, but the one that screws me over is mine. :fail

Sod this, Ive spent upwards of 5 hours trying to install vista via boot camp.

I am now having roblems with the NVIDA drivers. Im using a new 24 in LED display woth the MBP late 2008 model.

Im thinkign I may cut my lossess and go back to XP. That worked without any problems.

i keep using quickpwn to jb but it starts puts it into recovery mode and then does nothing? ive waited and waited but it still stays on the first process, it wont go to the bit where u hold home for 5 secs?

what am i doing wrong, it found the firmware and also found its an ipod touch i picked cydia and installer...

Im having a hard time since im new to this stuffs, ive tried searching around the forum and founded out that i can only install applications using cyndia (which uses wifi)

Tried searching for more info and ive seen a thread for "Total Commander" and "Iphonebrowser"... i dont have any clue on how to install applications using these stuffs...

Can someone help me?

Im new on these forums and new to the mac world, but after many years of using windows based machines i want to switch over and give MAC a try.

I found this pretty good deal locally a guy selling a "black macbook,2.0 ghz processor, 1 gig of ram,superdrive,60 gig hard drive,wireless and bluetooth" apparantly has leopard pre installed on it but doenst come with any kind of install dvd's or anything, just a power adapter.

question is, since im totally new to macs, is there anything i should be looking out for? I was researching the black macbooks online and i couldnt find that they came with a 60gb hdd, i only found 80gb so that was a bit weird to me. so any idea what generation this is? And if so any faults with them?

im probably going to take a look at it tomorrow, but would like to know what to keep an eye out for.

also ive seen screen shots of how people display the system information of CPU Speed, Ram etc.. how do i get to that so that i can actually see what CPU its running on, ram etc.. not just believing someone says its 1gb and not verifying 100%

also the price hes looking to get out of it is ~490$

Some of you may have noticed, most of you probably have not. That i have not been posting for a while. Well now i hope to start once again.

Ive been gone because i had to restore my laptop, i had some nasty crap on there... and then my external hard drive corrupted.
EVERYTHING was on my hard drive, my music, apps videos computer apps games etc... I was able to get most of it back through my iphone tho.
One thing i was pissed about was that all my PSDs are gone... all my hard work is all gone now...

Also ive been having some family troubles. And ive been trying to make money for christmas presents; i aim to buy my gf an iPod. As well as school has been a bitch and alot of my work wasnt done. So whether or not you noticed my absence, i hope to be posting more often again.

Hey I have been working on some new toggles for SBSettings, Here are the 5 togggles ive made so far:

1. CloseApp: This toggle is pretty simple, if you have an application open then you bring u sbsettings, this toggle will close the app behind sbsettings. May not be too useful but it was requested.

2. AutoLock: This toggles autolock on/off.

3. AutoCorrect: This toggles autocorrection on/off.

4.LServices: This toggles location services on/off.

5. Volume: Similar to the brightness toggle, you can control the master volume with a slider.

BigBoss has to check these then get icons for them, but after that they should be up on Cydia. Also I am still looking to make some more toggles, so please if you have any ideas for some, let me know and I will pick the good ideas to work on. thanks
