Voici donc les dernières nouveautés processeurs de chez Intel. La première est connue, c'est l'arrivée imminente du Q8300, un Quad en 0.45 nm à 2.5 GHz, en FSB 1333 pour 4 Mo de cache. Ensuite, devrait arriver prochainement le E5300 qui intèressera surement les petits budgets. Cette nouvelle déclinaison du E5x00 tourne à 2.6 GHz, pour un FSB 800 et 2 Mo de cache. Enfin, un nouveau Celeron fait son apparition, le E1500. Sa fréquence passe à 2.2 GHz, pour un FSB en 800, mais seulement 512 Ko de cache L2.

OK, I really have searched this & looked through pages of posts so please don't flame me if this seems like a lame question. I kind of have a feeling it's something that everyone just already knows but please humor me, I've been out of the loop!

I just upgraded from an ancient completely wired PC to an imac. I'm trying to figure out if using wireless will slow down my connection? I just bought a 300N hawking router, which LOOKS fast & was kinda expensive.

I have broadband that runs at up to 22/8 upload/download, (closer to 18/5 when I do tests, but that's another story) & watch a lot of streaming video. I LOVE my current speed & my new fast computer. If I put this router on another floor of my house, and my imac is running wireless instead of hooked into a cable, will it slow down?

I've ordered this and I'm currently looking into installing MacOS X x86 on it, purely for Media Center usage and sometimes to tinker with MacOS X.
I guess it should work on MacOS X x86, since the Atom CPU and 945 chipset should be supported. How about the rest ? Which release is advised for this ?
