(2008), pp. 191-202./ibr /br /Abstract  There is a large and compelling body of epidemiological and experimental evidence that oestrogens are instrumental in the aetiology of breast cancer. Their mechanisms of action are varied, including stimulation of cellular proliferation through receptor-mediated hormonal activity, increasing genetic mutation rates through cytochrome P450-mediated metabolic activation, and induction of aneuploidy. The local biosynthesis of oestrogens especially in postmenopausal women is believed to play a very important role in the pathogenesis and development of hormone dependent breast carcinoma and the over-expression of regulatory enzymes seems to be associated with the development of a more aggressive disease and associated with poor outcome and increased local and distant recurrences. In this article we highlight the role of CYP19 gene expression and aromatase activity in mammary carcinogenesis. Other oestrogen producing (17-β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and steroid sulphatase) and catalyzing enzymes (3-β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, Oestrogen sulfotransferase, CYP1A1, CYP1B1, and CYP3A4) are also discussed in some detail. Understanding the mechanisms that regulate these enzymes is crucial to the development of new endocrine therapies in post-menopausal females with hormone dependant breast cancer. Currently, third generation aromatase inhibitors has revolutionized the treatment of oestrogen dependant breast cancer. However, the important role of both STS and 17-β-HSD type 1 in local oestrogen production provides novel potential targets for endocrine therapy. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise lorsqu'on me signala, un peu plus tard, qu'un journal algérien de langue arabe m'attribuait des propos hallucinants sur la dénonciation d'un complot juif et me faisait dire l'inverse de ce que j'avais exprimé, ou encore m'attribuait comme réponse des questions qui m'avaient été posées. Peu après le site de l'Union des patrons juifs de France, connu pour sa virulence et son caractère ultra-droitier, reprenait tel quel ce journal arabe pour s'en indigner et parlait d'une « nouvelle affaire Boniface ». On m'a toujours accusé de faire des faux montages sur le maroc,et pour repondre ces cons j'ai mis cette video sans aucun montage Au Maroc les femmes ne sont pas les seules victimes de la violence conjugale. Il y a aussi des hommes qui sont battus par leurs femmes. Le fait est là et bien réel. Combien sont-ils à être violentés par le sexe féminin? Difficile de se prononcer à ce sujet. L’absence de statistiques et d’études ne permet pas de mesurer l’ampleur du phénomène. D’autant plus que les centres pour les hommes violentés sont inexistants au Maroc. Néanmoins, cette violence reste minoritaire. Mais, il faut avouer que les hommes maltraités sont moins rares qu'on ne pourrait le croire car le sujet reste tabou et les victimes préfèrent se taire. «Contrairement aux femmes, les hommes n’osent pas en parler. Ils pensent que c’est une atteinte à leur image. La société marocaine est machiste. Dans notre société, on voit mal un homme frappé par sa femme, muni d’un certificat médical et déposait plainte», affirme Me Abderrahim Bouhmidi, avocat du barreau de Rabat avant d’ajouter : «Je me souviens d’un cas qui remonte à une vingtaine d’années. Un homme se faisait constamment frapper par sa femme jusqu’au jour où il n’a plus supporté cette situation et l’a frappée à son tour. Celle-ci a alors porté plainte. Une fois au tribunal, en pleine audience, le juge lui a demandé s’il était véritablement un homme car il se laissait battre par sa femme.
