hey ive currently got an Ipod 1G and it has been jailbroken to 1.1.3 FW.

1) itunes keeps bugging me to buy the new 2.1 soft for £5 but wen i go onto the ipod section it says:

"a newer version of the ipod software is available (vs 2.0) to update with latest software click update" will this be free? and not automatically make me pay to go to 2.1??

2) Can i then jailbreak it to use the old applications from FW like 1.1.3 etc and still use the itunes apps?

3) since my ipod is 1G if i used FW 2.0 will i be able to use the Nike app or do i have to buy 2.1? or is it for 2G ipod touch's only?

please help me if you can

OK I kinda feel stupid for asking cuz I feel like the answer is probably obvious. I have a 2G Touch but the Nike App is nowhere to be found on it. I have no idea how to get it. Its not in the app store so has it not been released yet? Is it getting released with the next update or am I just missing something?
