Les deux firmes ont sortis des versions respectives de leurs netbooks qui incluent l'option 3G: le Samsung NC10 incluant une batterie 6-cell, un disque dur 160Go et un module 3G qui va sortir en Pologne avec divers forfaits et un engagement de 24 mois, le prix subventionné allant de 0.33$ à 425$ (wow, quelle fourchette impressionnante!). Les personnes qui vivent en Allemagne peuvent avoir le Asus Eee PC 1000H avec support HSDPA/HSUPA au prix de 503 Euros. Il a un écran 10.2" qui a une résolution de 1024x600, ce qui est un peu serré, particulièrement dans le sens vertical. Son autonomie est de 7h. Il mesure 276times;198times;29~37mm et pèse 1.55kg. Durant l'été, Dell a renouvelé sa gamme professionnelle Latitude avec la série E. Les améliorations sont nombreuses par rapport à la génération précédente avec notamment un châssis entièrement neuf annoncé comme particulièrement rigide et des fonctionnalités – souvent en option – qui les mettent à niveau par rapport à la concurrence. Les Latitude E peuvent ainsi recevoir un écran à rétro éclairage LED avec capteur de luminosité, un clavier rétro éclairé, un modem HSPDA, etc. Au niveau technologique, la gamme repose bien entendu sur la plateforme Centrino 2 et Dell annonce une autonomie assez impressionnante malgré la présence d'une NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160m. Il y a donc pas mal de choses à vérifier avec notre Dell Latitude E6400 haut de gamme...

Il a été vu sur le site du FFC, ce qui signifie qu'il va bientôt arriver sur le marché U.S. Il y aura les connectivités WIFI, 3G (EVDO, HSDPA) et Bluetooth. Engadget estime que la taille de cet appareil serait de 24.1cm x 11,4cm (une étiquette de 128mm de large étant la référence) et je me demande quel impact cela aura sur le clavier (je parie qu'il va vraiment être très petit). Apparemment, il fonctionne sous Windows XP.
