News/release from flav1994
As the game becomes addictive, has good graphics and it should be emphasized that it is well
structured. Our aim will be to dodge rocks that will appear to go far to make progress, we will
have to circumvent and win points when we get to 300 points above the game. Do not go thinking that
they are only 300 points is easy to achieve, in contrast, the rocks will increasingly have to be
quicker and faster than them not to destroy us.
It has a nice menu with three options and only two available, we hope that its author will bring
improvements in this little game. Download and Give Feedback Via Comments

News/release from megab

After three very long months my project is finally complete. For my senior seminar class I chose to
make a game for the game boy advance. After going through a few excellent tutorials I was well on
my way to making a great game. Gravity Ball Advance is a game where you fight gravity and avoid
objects such as walls. There are a total of 9 levels with different environments such as reverse
gravity, space, fans, and switches and three difficulty levels to choose from. At the end of every
third level there is a boss you must defeat.
Controls:
Up/A - Move up
Down/B - Move down
Start - Pause game

News/release from robamacaf
I worked on this for the last two days and have it at least in a playable fashion. If you don't
know what Khet is, here is a description.
It's the game that combines lasers with classic strategy. Players alternate turns moving
Egyptian-themed pieces having two, one or no mirrored surfaces. All four types of pieces (pharaoh,
obelisk, pyramid and djed column) can either move one square forward, back, left, right, or
diagonal, or can stay in the same square and rotate by a quarter twist. Each turn ends by firing
one of the lasers built into the board. The laser beam bounces from mirror to mirror; if the beam
strikes a non-mirrored surface on any piece, it is immediately removed from play. The ultimate goal
is to illuminate your opponent's pharaoh, while shielding yours from harm!
(The red laser shoots out the top left, from the circle there, the grey one from the bottom right.
red pieces can't go on the grey squares and grey pieces can't go on the red squares)
This game is being released to get feedback, etc. I will be updating it with more features. As of
now, it is only 2 player on the same DS. I hope to add Wifi and computer AI soon. I will also be
adding different configurations to play with. There are 3 main ones in Khet but I am also going to
make it that players can make their own. I am also looking at redoing the graphics, possibly
3D.
As for now, enjoy the game! This is my FIRST DS game and also my first C/C++ program so please let
me know what you think!
v1.02 - 03 Dec 08
---------------------------------------
Added in the 3 basic layouts. These are the ones that are in the rules. The way it works is:
* Classic: Use this setup if this is your first time to play Khet. Good for learning the game
* Imhotep: A variation on CLASSIC that opens up new defensive possibilities.
* Dynasty: A setup with an immediate balance of offense and defense that develops quickly.
v1.01 - 03 Dec 08
---------------------------------------
* Added the ability to deselect an item, to do this just click any where off the game board
* Added a highlight so you can see which piece you have selected
* Added a version number on the Rules screen so you can see what version you have.
* (Updated link)
v1.00 - 03 Dec 08
--------------------------------------
*Game added

New puzzle game for the Gamecube from Scognito
released:

Wiicross is a picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid have to be colored or left blank
according to numbers given at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture.
In this puzzle type, the numbers measure how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in
any given row or column.
For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares,
in that order, with at least one blank square between successive groups.
It's easier playing with game directly than understand the rules at first :)
Features:
More than 50 levels, all drawn by users!
Two game modes: Normal mode, Free mode
Themed game: 6 themes available
Custom themes! You can create your own themes!
Custom music! You can add your own custom music (only wii version)

carcinogenesis. We evaluated the association between major clinicopathological features and
hypermethylation of genes in tumors among 803 incidence breast cancer cases from a large
population-based case-control study conducted in Western New York State. DNA samples were isolated
from archive paraffin embedded tumor tissue and were analyzed for hypermethylation status of the
E-cadherin, p16, and RAR-beta ( 2 ) genes using real time methylation-specific polymerase chain
reaction. The frequencies of hypermethylation were 20.0% for E-cadherin, 25.9% for p16, and 27.5%
for RAR-beta ( 2 ) genes. For postmenopausal women, hypermethylation of E-cadherin tended to be
more likely in progesterone receptor (PR) negative than in PR-positive tumors (odds ratio (OR),
1.41; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.91-2.18). Hypermethylation of p16 tended to be more frequent
among estrogen receptor (ER) negative cases than ER-positive cases (OR, 1.51; 95% CI, 1.01-2.32).
Hypermethylation of RAR-beta ( 2 ) gene was inversely associated with histological and nuclear
grade of breast cancer.br /iMeng Tao, Peter Shields, Jing Nie, Amy Millen, Christine Ambrosone,

hey guys...
ive posted few threads n u guys have been great in answering my questions...
i just need final help before finalizing the purchase...
PACKAGE 1
Macbook 2.0 + 4 GB of ram + 320 GB HDD upgrade in future *may not purchase the hard drive
if i find my lacie external 1 TB USB 2.0 drive to be of help* but as always onboard drives are much
more useful n practical then external
cost = roughly 1300$
PACKAGE 2
Macbook 2.0 + Dell S2409W 24-inch Screen for extended desktop use
cost = roughly $1350
*** if i do this then ram upgrade will have to wait till summer... when prices come down n i have
accumulated enough cash to buy it (im a student so ye it'll take a while)
PACKAGE 3
Macbook 2.4 + 4 GB of ram (*no need for additional on board storage as 250 is more then enough
IMO*)
cost = $1400
PACKAGE 4
Macbook 2.4 + Dell S2409W 24-inch Screen for extended desktop use
cost = $1600
PACKAGE 5
Macbook Pro 2.4 (older gen) + 4GB upgrade on DDR2 ram (70$ max)
cost = $1400
Package 6
Macbook Pro 2.4 (REFURB) (older gen) + 4 gb ram upgrade + Dell S2409W 24-inch Screen for extended
desktop use
cost = $1500
Package 7
Macbook Pro 2.4 + Dell S2409W 24-inch Screen for extended desktop use
cost = 1600
1) what do you guys think is an good deal?
2) does any one know how well the Dell Screen performs with the macbooks? (i heard there are alot
of flickering problems with alot of different screens (does this seem to have it?)
3) how often do users use this monitor? is it worth the spending extra $360 CND (300 USD)?
http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...1&sku=320-7345
4) the only reason for the upgrade on external monitor (besides the wow-cool-awsome factor) is the
blacklevel difference between the new MB vs MBP... are they really that bad? (would i really
care/notice if/unless i have the two side by side for constant comparision?)
4) is it necessary to do 4 GB upgrade? i mean i was using a laptop with 512 ram for over 2 years
before i decided to upgrade it to 2gb ... n i think its a good strategy to make ur computer feel
faster (i.e. wait for a while before upgrading just so that u feel (psychologically) that ur
computer has been "Re-amped" and that its not slugging behind the latest laptops...
5) portability is not that big of an issue but still how bad is MBP in competition with MB (im a
uni student (barely take my laptop to classes thou)) - the only time i need portability is when im
taking my laptop to the library (which is usually during exam time)
lastly, an i mentioned before, im a student
things i do with my laptop:
downloading, unzipping rar files (regularly), looking but not sure whether or not ill follow up
with video editing (perhaps youtubing), movie/tv watching, microsoft word
thx:apple:
