Ok, so i have a jailbroken phone, I bought it at the AT&T store about 10 months ago. Jailbroke
it fine... no problems, but suddenly today it starts acting weird. Every time i open an application
it quits...
When i turn it on it starts up in Disk Recovery Mode...
It's obvious that the "Home" button seems to be stuck in . not physically, but to the software.
Tried a full restore, and problem still is there, so it has to be hardware related.
What are my options, since i don't really have service with AT&T, will apple be able to service
it. If i can get a friend who has an iPhone to lend me his simcard, can i pop it in, and bring it
in for service under my name?
or... How would this story work... if i say that i restored it, and since when i reboot i can't get
out of disk utility mode, and it doesn't work i just took my simcard and put it in another phone.
So when i take it in, i don't have the sim card... or will they know?
I just want my iPhone fixed.. i payed a full $500 for it :(

Ok so this is what happens (ahh... bad luck comes in): Ok so I decide to sell my iPhone on ebay
because I got bored of it. So I list it on ebay and someone buys it. So I go on the iPhone and
click "Erase All Content and Settings" and I leave it on and go out of the house for about 2 hours.
When I come back the iPhone is showing the Apple logo and there is a little circle that shows that
it's loading beneath the Apple logo. So I wait for another maybe hour, and it's still there! So I
hold the Home button and the Sleep button to turn it off, I turn it on and it's still the same. So
I decide to restore it by putting the phone into Recovery mode where it shows the iTunes and the
USB cord, so I connect it to the computer, but the computer doesn't recognize it!
So I tried almost everything. I updated my computer with the windows updates, I updated and
reinstalled itunes about 3 times. I even changed the battery on the iPhone!!!! I had a spare
one....
Please if you have ANY suggestions on what to do please tell me! I am completely out of ideas. It's
definitely not the USB cord because if it didn't work I wouldn't be able to put the phone into
Recovery mode.
:apple: anyone? :)
Edit: btw I have the 2G 4GB version iPhone and I am using a Windows XP computer. But I also tried
it on my mom's Windows Vista laptop.

Well i have my friends ipod, and she said that it wont charge. And stays at the like very low
battery sign. And even though it's connected it doesn't move.
itunes won't detect the ipod, and
when i try to put in recovery mode or restart it just sits at the apple logo for a long time, or
until i like press the sleep key. Then just goes back to the low battery sign. I think it was
originally 1.1.4 and my other friend jailbroke it and made the firmware 2.0 then after a few weeks
it just froze..
its just dead ...
Any help?

Hi,
I have IPOD Touch 16 GB.
When I plug-in it in my PC, My iTunes says "iTunes will automaticly check for an update again on
2008-11-14"
I am facing problem with this automatic update. My IPOD went to recovery mode twice due to this and
then I was not able to restore and finally got it replaced.
Is there any way to disable that?
Thanks in Advance.

I was attempting to jailbreak my ipod for 2.2 firmware, I was at the point where I had to hold home
down for 30 seconds, and for some reason the timer stopped at 16, said I was done, and now my ipod
won't boot. I either get a cartoon of steve jobs, or the pineapple logo, but it won't boot, or go
into recovery mode, and Itunes won't connect to it because it has a password set. Does anyone know
how I could fix this?
