br /What it doesbr /br /Vi.vu stands as a health and wellness network whereby you can not only find
health-related information and professionals but also share what you find with those who are part
of your trusted circle. br brThe site enables both users and professionals to sign up for free.
Upon doing so, the former can start accessing the information which is stored online, whereas the
latter can create a professional web page for users to read and weigh up. This professional page
includes the kind of information that appeals to customers such as CVs, pictures and related
contents and reference materials. br brThe Vi.vu website also includes a supple search tool that
will let you look up information on any of the following categories: “Professionals”,
“Questions”, “Links” and “Internet”. br brFor its part, the
main page devotes considerable space to listing both recently shared information and new
recommended professionals. br brAs a result, it can be said that the site is a valuable resource
both for healthcare professionals and members of the general public on the lookout for reliable
information. If you fall into any of these categories, a visit to the site is a good idea.br /br

Hello,
I have a new 15" MBP Aluminum. It's the 2.53 GHz with a 320GB 7200 HD.
I don't seem to be getting very good battery life. I just unplugged the power cord and it estimates
2:50. I only have Safari and Mail running. I am connected over WiFi and Bluetooth is turned on. The
screen brightness is at the lowest setting. I am running in Power Saver mode with the lower powered
video card. I conditioned my battery when I first got it.
Here is what iStat provides:
Cycles 8
Health 100%
99%, 2:50 remaining.
Here is the Power information from the System Profiler.
Model Information:
Serial Number: SMP-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Manufacturer: SMP
Device name: bq20z951
Pack Lot Code: 0000
PCB Lot Code: 0000
Firmware Version: 002a
Hardware Revision: 000a
Cell Revision: 0100
Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 4282
Fully charged: No
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 4643
Health Information:
Cycle count: 8
Condition: Good
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): -1571
Voltage (mV): 12094
The other day, I unplugged the MBP and took it to work. I only turned it on when I was teaching. I
used the mini adapter to connect the MBP to the projector. After I taught, I closed the lid and
when I got home the power was down to 10%.!! So I was only able to get about 1.5 hours out of it
for the day. The screen was on full brightness when I was teaching however.
Are other getting less than 3hrs battery life? Does this sound about right? Any suggestions?
Cheers.

lkcl writes "The GitTorrent Protocol (GTP) is a protocol for collaborative git repository
distribution across the Internet. Git promises to be a distributed software management tool, where
a repository can be distributed. Yet, the mechanisms used to date to actually 'distribute,' such as
ssh, are very much still centralized. GitTorrent makes Git truly distributed. The initial plans are
for reducing mirror loading, however the full plans include totally distributed development: no
central mirrors whatsoever. PGP signing (an existing feature of git) and other web-of-trust-based
mechanisms will take over from protocols on ports (e.g. ssh) as the access control 'clearing
house.' The implications of a truly distributed revision control system are truly staggering:
unrestricted software freedom. The playing field is leveled in so many ways, as 'The Web Site' no
longer becomes the central choke-point of control. Coming just in time for that all-encompassing
Free Software revolution hinted at by The Rebellion Against Vista, this article will explain more
fully some of the implications that make this quiet and technically brilliant project, GitTorrent,
so important to Software Freedom, from both technical and political perspectives."pa

request confirmation before writing over changed files. The behavior of the tab key can now be
customized and the home/end keys may now be used in line editing mode. New menu items and command
options were added to select versions around a commit and to jump to particular lines. More file
types are recognized for syntax highlighting. Several minor bugs were also fixed. pa
