height="665" style="display:block;float:none;" / Windows only: Lots of folks rave about Microsoft
Office 2007's ribbon interface, but now you can have it for free in Microsoft Word's younger

"Wordpad 2009," which offers multiple documents in tabs, Windows 7 icons, and yes, the ribbon
interface. While this is yet another way you can a

few weeks ago Google updated Gmail to allow users to a
href="http://www.downloadsquad.com/2008/11/19/google-starts-rolling-out-gmail-themes/"choose
colorful themes/a for their email service. The move left some of us wondering when a
href="http://google.com/reader"Google Reader/a was going to get a similar facelift. Apparently
today is the day, but the change isn't exactly what I had expected. br /br /Google has rolled out a
new look for its RSS reader. There's a lot more white space, and a lot less blue. But there's no
way to customize the color scheme. br /br /Probably the best part of the new design is that you can
collapse different sections in your sidebar to save space. Don't care what items your friends have
shared? Just select the "hide unread counts" button. Hate the fact that every time you log into
your account you're greeted with a reminder that you have over 1000 unread items to catch up on?
You can collapse that section too. br /br /I happened to have Google Reader open when the
changeover occurred, so I was able to grab the screenshot above showing the old new design on the
left and the old Google Reader interface on the left. Honestly, found the old version familiar and
comforting like a favorite blanket. But I'm sure I'll get used to the new version soon. Getting rid
of that 1000+ unread item count will certainly help.br /br /emthanks a

Mac Forums - iPod touch -

OK, I got my replacement MBP in the mail and I did a migration from a Time Machine back-up.
Now when I try to access the 'movies' folder, it's gone.
The text in the dialog says: 'The volume for Movies is missing' (in Dutch)
And as you can see in the second screenshot, the Movies folder is missing from the Home screen (and
so is the Public folder)
Reason why:
When I make back-ups, I exclude the Movies (because I have my movies stored on an external drive)
and Public (because there are nothing but duplicates in there) folders from the back-up.
Now I recovered my Mac from these back-ups and now it thinks there are no such folders, while they
should just be empty.
Worth noting: I also excluse 'Desktop' and 'Downloads' from my back-ups, but I can access both just
fine.
Any ideas how to fix this?

pimg src="http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/lifehacker/2008/12/fluidtunes.png" width="485"
height="297" style="display:block;" / Mac OS X only: Using your Mac's iSight camera to detect the
hand gestures you make in front of it, free utility FluidTunes controls your iTunes library
playback based on those motions. File this under "really cool but not sure I'd actually use it
every day": you swipe your hand back and forth in the air in front of your Mac to move through your
iTunes library in Cover Flow mode, and then swipe at a button to play a selected album. FluidTunes
shows what you look like on your camera behind your album covers, so you can center your hand over
buttons to press them. (It's dim, but it's theremdash;in the screenshot above the user's hand is at
the bottom of the screen.) While not touching the keyboard, mouse, or any other digital remote to
play your music is amazing, you'll look like a flailing crazy person while you use FluidTunes.

border="0"/abr/pbrSo a href="http://pspupdates.qj.net/tags/wolverine/3693" id="tag" title="X-Men
character"Wolverine/a's getting a new video game alongside the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine
movie next year. The questions on gamers' minds right now is, Is it going to be a good
game?brbrHonestly? I don't know. I haven't really seen enough of it to form an opinion. I'm keeping
my fingers crossed though.brbrThose of you who want to know more about the game can check out the
new issue of a href="http://pspupdates.qj.net/tags/egm/452" id="tag" title="Electronic Gaming
Monthly"EGM/a as it features a first look at span style="font-style: italic;"X-Men Origins:
Wolverine/span. Screenshots, details... it's there (that's the first screenshot of the game up top,
by the way). If you don't have the cash for a copy, well, it's all gonna end up on the Internet
sooner or later anyway, right?brbrhr style="width: 100 ; height: 2px;"brspan style="font-weight:
