I have 2 laptops, macbook air and toshiba. I used the os disc to install the software to share the optical drive from toshiba with my mac so I can install windows xp with the help of boot camp. Now comes the problems. This is my first mac, and unfortunately for me it has no drive, and I'm trying to make this work with no luck at all. Let me tell you what I do and please tell me what I do wrong:
1.I put my xp sp2 in toshiba
2.I ask request from my mac to toshiba to let me use the optical drive and I accept
3. It shows me the disc and I double click on it. A window with the files from the disc appears
4. I start boot camp and I click on continue the installation. When I click on start the installation an error with "The installer disc could not be found" appears.

WHAT DO I DO WRONG????

Microsoft will broaden the testing base for the beta version of Windows Vista Service Pack 2, the software maker said Tuesday. Initially announced in October, the pre-release code is currently available to TechNet and MSDN subscribers and will be widely available to the public on Thursday through Microsoft's Customer Preview Program. The operating system's second service pack includes new hardware support for Bluetooth 2.1 and Blu-ray as well as the latest version of Windows Search 4.0 and Hyper-V virtualization technology.

There is a good list of Vista SP2 features posted at ZDNet today for those of you interested. Aside from including all previously released security updates, SP2 adds features like Windows Connect Now (WCN) Wi-Fi Configuration and the ability to record data on Blu-ray media, just to name a few.

Microsoft is continuing to broaden the pool of Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) testers beyond the fairly small, select group who’ve been working with test builds for the past few months. On December 2, Microsoft made the latest beta build of SP2 available for download by any TechNet and Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) subscribers.
