Despite the improvements (gotta love mass manufacturing), this revised system will sell for a lower price point - approximately $45 less compared to the current Atom-powered model. Blockbuster's CIO also envisions using Live Mesh to sync your movie watching with multiple web-connected PCs and TVs./p pInterestingly, Netflix's online player uses Microsoft's Silverlight platform—which also has an API tie-in to Live Mesh. Something tells me that with their year-plus head start, Netflix has got something in the oven for a mobile application as well. From the list of changes, it looks like the 76 firmware will introduce some nice speed improvements, along with some stability improvements.
