Today on Boing Boing tv: Toots and the Maytals are true reggae legends (more: Wikipedia, MySpace).
Founder Toots Hibbert is credited with coining the word "reggae" in the band's 1968 single, "Do the
Raggay." They've had more number one hit songs in Jamaica than any recording artist ever, and
received a Grammy for Best Reggae Album of the Year in 2005. I joined BBtv's London-based music
correspondent Russell Porter for a visit on the venerable Mister Toots' tour bus after an amazing
set at Outside Lands, and we sat down with him for a conversation about the history of reggae, and
what Toots thinks about contemporary hip-hop and dancehall -- and where his legacy leads. The

My iphone 1st gen was working great with no problems unlocked on 1.1.4 then I upgraded to 2.0.1 and
I couldn't get it to unlock etc so I downgraded back to 1.1.4 and unlocked/Jailbrkd with Ziphone
v3.0, it all seemed to go well and I can access the features but I don't get my carrier name in top
left corner (virgin uk) and only 1 small bar of signal which does not allow me to make/take
calls..... There is no message on the phone or from itunes saying sim not recognised but it does
appear that I can make emergency calls only.

collaboration avec un autre pilier de la japanimation : Satoshi Kon. Ensuite pour la série
d’animation, il s’agira du cultissime Elfen Lied (disponible chez Kaze)
; Délicieux mélange de gore, de science-fiction et de drame. L’anime sera
diffusé dans l’émission Manga Trash à partir du dimanche 12 Octobre
à 00h05. Il faut avouer que ce sont des choix de qualité qu’entreprend la
chaîne depuis début 2008, espérons que celle-ci continue sur sa lancée
